What is your dream?

Mine is simple: to see as much of this world as I can, camera in hand.

To travel to places I’ve never seen before, meet people I would have never met otherwise, and turn those moments into stories worth remembering.

Becoming a travel photographer and content creator was never just about taking beautiful photos or making cinematic travel videos. It was about building a life where curiosity could become my work.

New countries. Different cultures. Remote landscapes. Real people. Stories that deserve to be told.

I’m still figuring it out as I go, but maybe that’s the best part.

The dream isn’t to escape real life.

It’s to create one I don’t want to escape from.

What’s yours?

Some places don’t feel real until you stand inside them.

This is the White Desert of Egypt.

Hours away from Cairo, roads and cities slowly disappear, replaced by an endless landscape of white chalk formations shaped by wind and sand over thousands of years.

Driving through it feels less like exploring Egypt and more like landing on another planet.

What struck me most was the scale.

A car becomes a tiny dot.
A person almost disappears.
And the desert just keeps going.

One of the most surreal places I’ve ever photographed.

Would you spend a night here?

The best travel camera is the one you want to carry with you.

I took the new OM SYSTEM PEN around Sri Lanka and that’s probably what I liked most about it.

It’s small, quick and simple. I could keep it with me all day, pull it out when something happened and shoot without turning every moment into a ā€œphoto sessionā€.
That’s something I’ve started to appreciate more and more while travelling.

Sometimes with bigger cameras I end up thinking too much about the photo. Settings, lenses, bags, gear. With this, it felt much closer to the way I use my phone: see something, shoot it, move on.

Just with the quality and feeling I still want from a camera.
Most of these photos are exactly that things that happened in front of me while I was travelling. Nothing planned.

Maybe that’s what I want from a travel camera now: something good enough that I don’t reach for my phone, but simple enough that I don’t have to think about it.

Sri Lanka with the new OM SYSTEM PEN.

Egypt through my eyes - and through the eyes of the people who bring its timeless magic to life.

There’s something in the gaze of the people here… ancient, intense, carrying echoes of a civilization that never faded. Walking through the streets of Cairo, you don’t just witness the chaos — you feel its rhythm, alive and unstoppable.

Then Luxor… where silence speaks louder than words. Every temple, every stone, every shadow at sunset holds stories carved in eternity. Time slows down, and history surrounds you in a way that feels almost sacred.

A land where past and present breathe together, where every Š²Š·Š³Š»ŃŠ“ tells a story older than memory, and every moment feels deeply rooted in something greater. ✨

Egypt, you are not just a journey — you are a passage through time.

Lost in the silence of the Moroccan desert.
But somehow, I’ve never felt more connected to the world.

For days, it was just wind, endless dunes, tea shared with strangers, and the kind of sunsets that make you forget your phone even exists.

Every hour in the Sahara felt slower, quieter, more real.

I brought the OM SYSTEM OM-1 Mark II expecting to capture landscapes.
Instead, Morocco captured me.

There’s something about the desert that strips life back to the essentials.
No noise. No distractions. Just light, silence, and human connection.

In Morocco, I found beauty in the smallest moments.
Footprints erased by the wind, endless dunes glowing at sunrise, faces shaped by years of desert life, and nights so quiet they didn’t feel real.

The Sahara doesn’t ask for attention.
It earns it slowly.

And in a place like this, your gear either survives… or it doesn’t.

The OM-1 Mark II handled dust, sandstorms, and heat without a single problem.
Completely weather-sealed and built for extreme conditions, it let me focus on the experience instead of worrying about the equipment.

From soft blue mornings to golden sunsets that looked painted by hand, every frame felt cinematic.

And honestly… I’d go back tomorrow.

Some photos can’t be cropped.

And honestly, I think that’s okay.

We live in a world where social media constantly tells us what performs better. Shoot vertical. Crop for 9:16. Make everything fit the screen. Follow the format, follow the trend, follow the algorithm.

But photography was never supposed to be about the perfect size.

I take photos to collect memories. To remember a place, a feeling, a light, a person, a moment exactly as I saw it. Sometimes that means vertical. Sometimes horizontal. Sometimes a weird composition that makes absolutely no sense for Instagram.

There’s no ā€œcorrectā€ format when you’re shooting for yourself.

Shoot what makes you happy.
Shoot what feels right to your eyes.
Shoot the frame you’ll want to look at years from now.

Because trends will change. Algorithms will change. Social media formats will change.

But the memories you captured are yours.

Only a dead fish follows the flow. 🐟

I’m in Sri Lanka right now, surfing in warm water… but I still can’t stop thinking about surfing in Norway. šŸ‡³šŸ‡“

There’s something crazy about going from tropical beaches to remembering what it felt like to be in the freezing water, surrounded by snow and mountains.

I honestly didn’t expect Norway to stay in my head this much.

Lofoten in winter was one of those trips where pretty much every day looked unreal. Frozen lakes, snow-covered mountains, tiny islands, crazy weather and that deep blue Arctic water.

And now, while I’m sitting on a board in Sri Lanka waiting for a wave, I keep thinking about those freezing Norwegian waves.

Different places. Completely different conditions.

But somehow, the same feeling.

Iceland isn’t just another destination. It’s one of the few places on Earth that feels like a different planet. šŸ‡®šŸ‡ø

From watching the Northern Lights dance above snow covered mountains to standing on endless black sand beaches shaped by volcanic eruptions, every kilometer feels unreal.

This is the land of glaciers, waterfalls, lava fields, ice caves, wild coastlines, and landscapes that look straight out of a fantasy movie. Whether you’re chasing the aurora, driving the Ring Road, exploring the South Coast, or photographing places like Vestrahorn, Reynisfjara, and Jökulsárlón, Iceland constantly reminds you how powerful nature can be.

If you’re planning an Iceland road trip, building your photography bucket list, or simply dreaming about the world’s most breathtaking destinations, save this post for your future adventure.

Have you ever been to Iceland, or is it still on your bucket list?

Same place, completely different light.

Mirissa Beach in Sri Lanka has been one of those places I could photograph over and over again. Sunrise, sunset, rain, waves, palm trees. Nothing ever feels quite the same.

The light changes everything.

Some mornings are soft and misty, others turn the whole beach golden. And sometimes you just stand there watching the waves and realise how small we are compared to everything around us.

Mirissa made me smile every time I went back. There is something about this part of Sri Lanka that makes it very easy to slow down and just look.

12 hours in Wilpattu National Park, searching for leopards.

During the dry season, water becomes one of the best places to look. So we spent hours driving from one waterhole to another, hoping that, at the right moment, a leopard would come down to drink.

10 hours of ā€œnothingā€.

Well… not really nothing. Small animals, birds, tracks, trails and endless moments of simply waiting. But no leopard.

And then, right before the end of the day, everything changed.

Three leopards resting quietly next to a pond. A male, a mother and her little son. No dramatic chase, no action, just three wild animals completely at peace in their environment.

And maybe this is what wildlife photography keeps teaching me.

Wait.
Believe.
Respect.

Wait for the moment instead of forcing it.
Believe that something can happen even when you’ve seen nothing for hours.
And respect the animals enough to let them be exactly where they are.

Photographed in Sri Lanka with my OM SYSTEM OM-1 Mark II + M.Zuiko 40–150mm f/2.8 PRO.

Sri Lanka wildlife photography, leopard photography and safari photography are not always about getting the shot. Sometimes, it’s about being there long enough for nature to decide when the shot happens.
