hi, im jerry! 👋

im the og waterboy. jerry cans like me have carried clean water across the globe for years!

ngl, i did not know we would end up here.

back then, i was just a little guy trying to make the roster. now ive spent 10 years as the waterboys intern, which feels like enough time to finally earn a work trip.

so im hitting the road, starting here in charlottesville before traveling to 10 cities across the country: austin, columbus, philly, nyc, vegas, denver, st. louis, dc, tampa, and la for super bowl lxi! im pumped to meet people, hang with athletes, check out the local spots, try things i probably have no business trying, and talk clean water along the way!

i also plan to eat extremely well. give your boy some recs!

if im coming to your city, tell me what i need to eat, see, and do! give me the obvious picks and the weird ones. im down to clown. 🤡

Ten Climbs. Endless Ripples.

Conquering Kili 2026 marked one of our highest peaks yet: to date, we have summited Mount Kilimanjaro 10 TIMES to raise funds and awareness for Waterboys clean water projects in Tanzania. As we also celebrate 10 years of Waterboys impact this year, the work continues.

We are all #BuiltByWater: every athlete, military veteran, and clean water advocate who participated in Conquering Kili, every community in Tanzania and Kenya with a new well, every rural U.S. family with a new residential well, every family in Navajo Nation and West Virginia who is connected to the water grid, every under-resourced school in the U.S. with a new filtered water bottle-filling station — all of us.

met up with buckeye and nba legend @gregoden! 🏀

been looking up to this guy for years. turns out thats also how it works in person 😧

grabbed a table so we could talk basketball. brought the same confidence i bring to every conversation where the other person knows a lot more

im feeling pretty good in my #builtbywater hat! even more excited for somebody to win the special swag bag im putting together for the raffle at the end of my trip

got some gym time with buckeye and nba legend @jimjackson2224! supposed to be counting his reps but we got to talking and now we might be on six or fourteen. great catching up though 🤝

joined jim for a little work after the gym. he looks focused so im saving all my questions for when he starts typing again taken in Columbus, Ohio by @waterboysorg

spending the day at ohio state! heard blue is taboo here. bit of a situation for me personally. found some scarlet fabric and now im ready for my big entrance. just need someone to open the gate and several thousand people to arrive

checking out the ohio union. ten years interning at waterboys should count for some course credit. happy to send over references

hanging with conquering kili alum & osu prof david williams and my new buddy, bronze brutus buckeye! david climbed a mountain. today he helped me onto a lap. appreciate a guy who can do both 🤝

came into the bookstore and found my size immediately. still looking for my major but the hat part is handled

made it to the shoe! thats me down there. appreciate everyone zooming in. quite a place for my recruiting visit. nobody called it that but me

everybody picked a pose before i got here. went with my usual. happy to be included

archie griffin’s statue! plenty of room for me on the base. took a photo before anyone could explain that this wasnt a joint honor 🏆

found my study spot at mirror lake. no books yet but i could sit here and think about water for hours. actually this might count as working

made it to columbus and my friends at @cosiscience let me explore!

this guy had a whole room of people taking his picture and still made time for ours. class act 🦖

found another guy who works in water! gonna ask waterboys about getting me a setup like this. mostly interested in the trident

ive been carrying water for ten years and nobody told me it could do tricks. absolutely bringing this up at the next staff meeting 💧

came over to meet this turtle and he swam right up! probably recognized me. trying not to make a big thing of it

i hope nobody had afternoon plans. i had a lot of questions. thanks cosi!

everything bagel with spicy chive cream cheese at @theloxbagelshop! little heat to keep me humble. i needed that after the dinosaur photo

columbus has some really cool art. i stood here for a bit in case anyone wanted to paint me in

ended up at @jenisicecreams! been making a lot of decisions today so i think someone else should decide when ive had enough ice cream.

What a night!

A major THANK YOU to everyone who came to @thepennynyc on Thursday for our annual Happy Hour. We had over 70 people join throughout the night and raised over $5k for clean water!

A big shout out to the amazing raffle donations by @aarmy, @makeittremble_ , @barrys, @f45_training_flatiron, @cyclebarnyc, @lizzietrull13, @goodday.pilates, @othership, @fyrayoga, @wundabarpilates, @kove_studio, @sotomethod, @xylem_inc, @metsfan007, @jcrileyvermont, @oldmatespub, @thepennynyc, @coopersnyc, @wogiesbar and @loveoldecity. me and vince young conquering kili in 2018! yes i was really there. not sure why everyone keeps asking #nophotoshop

and i just got to see him again in austin 8 years later! he immediately picked me up. good to know we’re still at that level of friendship 🤝 by @waterboysorg
