This officially wraps Waterfront's first 2026 season.

Again, thanks to all the artists and the people who got involved in this crazy ride. To the ones who gave their time freely and all others that believed in this project.

To my family members who were there to encourage and help organize.

To Moog audio for their professionalism and to had provide a discount on dj gear.

To Explore Verdun magazine for their involvement and of course to the suburb of Verdun who took the time to listen of what we were proposing and for their general openmindness for that kind of venue here in Verdun.

What a blast we had. We'll see you next year, better, faster, stronger.

As you know, the project "backwater" is prolonging our season during the winter with the same philosophy : Promoting local talent, dj's & Collectives and the overall scene in the South West and in Montreal.

This starts right now with our first event at @theblueroommtl on october 31 (7pm-3am).

Puisant notamment dans les sonorités et l’esthétique des années 70, 80 et 90, Saya développe un style qui
lui est propre, en mélangeant ces influences avec une approche électronique moderne. Son parcours
discographique remonte à 2017 avec la sortie de son EP éponyme, Saya, réalisé avec John Bentley, qui
comprend notamment « Close Your Eyes », par la suite remixé par le producteur montréalais Alain Vinet.
Au fil des années, Saya a collaboré avec plusieurs artistes de la scène électronique montréalaise, dont Alain Vinet, Frank Bones, John Bentley et Matt Cerf, ainsi qu’avec Avenue One, le projet international de
progressive house de Matt Cerf et Petr Lesko.
Avec Avenue One, elle a sorti « Remember the Light » sur Black Hole Recordings et « Back To The Roots »
sur Sekora. Elle a également collaboré avec Cerf sur « Waiting », paru sur KudoZ Records.

MATT CERF

Matt Cerf est un producteur, DJ et compositeur montréalais actif sur la scène électronique internationale depuis plus de deux décennies. Membre de Second Sun, puis cofondateur de Cerf, Mitiska & Jaren, il compte plus de 150 sorties sur des labels comme Armada, Ultra, Black Hole Recordings, Enhanced et Lost Language, avec des collaborations avec Armin van Buuren, Markus Schulz, Aly & Fila, Conjure One et Masoud.
