A little BTS compilation of my branding session, courtesy of @thetidemarkcollective & @thetidemarkstudio to finally announce… my new website is live!

Carefully curated and created in collaboration with @thetidemarkcollective, I wanted something that felt more like me and spoke to the experience I aim to give my clients. Super 8 film is also something I’ve always been stoked to offer, so I wanted to highlight that especially as I’d love to extend that further into my next year of business.

Can’t wait to connect with more of you, thanks for being here ❤️‍🔥 I’ll see you over at watersfolkphotography.com!

Welllll I guess I’ve been long overdue for some new vibes that truly feel like me 🙂‍↔️ If you didn’t already know, I’m Christina aka Watersfolk Photography, and this gig has been my baby since 2020 when I officially launched my business, specializing in wedding & lifestyle photography!

I’m a lover of all things vintage, heavy on the film & music, and capturing the most magical moments for people who come from all walks of life. I think it’s insanely cool that I get to do something like this as a full-time job and everyone I’ve ever met through this business has remained on my heart fondly over the years.

Absolutely cannot wait to continue this journey and continue to make connections that become woven into the fibers of who I am as a creative. Also incredibly excited for the new adventures I’ve embarked on over at @thetidemarkcollective & @thetidemarkstudio. (I guess this is also a good time to mention that my new website is about to launch WOOO). I feel like it keeps getting better & better each year, so let’s get it!!

We’re getting married!!! 🥹

Feeling so incredibly grateful to have captured Maddie & Hunter’s engagement session on both photo and video. I actually spent the majority of the time editing this video ugly crying because it’s so special getting to be involved in someone’s love story, even just a little part of it. Also, this song? What the heck. 😭 My internet friend turned real life bestie is getting married to the love of her life and I think that’s just the greatest thing ever!!

I would make the drive to Virginia Beach 10x over for these two and I was lucky enough to have @savannahsladephotography join and film alongside me. ♥️ I know I sound like a broken record, but this is truly the best job in the world.

Congrats Maddie & Hunter! Now let’s plan a wedding!

Maddie & Hunter 💌

Where do I even begin… the universe really does work in magical ways sometimes, and as fate would have it, Maddie and I connected through our personal Instagrams and instantly became friends. I was instantly charmed because she’s just one of the most genuine, kind, down to Earth human beings I’ve ever crossed paths with. When her and Hunter got engaged it was honestly a no-brainer for me to travel up from Florida to Virginia Beach to photograph their engagement session, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. 🥹

The way these two love each other is just the most genuine and real representation of true love and they couldn’t be more perfect for each other. I’m just so humbled & grateful to have spent time with them and getting to learn their story… annnnd on a personal note, I have made just a really amazing, lovely friend. I could keep going, but I’ll spare you all the extra sappy stuff.

I love these humans!

Sometimes the second photographer gig is so good you have to edit & post— Brooke & Chris’ sailboat elopement was a dream ⛵️

If @manicbotanicc were a flower, I’d pick her every time 🪻
Cass is just a gem of a human being, entertaining all of my ideas and funky posing— having her grace the studio with her botanical magic was a gift that kept on giving. The sneak gallery was just too good not to share now, so consider all of your eyeballs blessed.

Well hi Instagram, it’s been a while 💫 You know I had to make my return to social media solid by dropping some insane branding portraits. To be fair, Aarin makes my job really easy when she’s effortlessly cool and ridiculously good looking, I mean hello. 🤩

Because whooo would I be if I didn’t bring a lil drama to a session 🙂‍↔️ Big love to the Berry family, they’re always willing to run around, climb on things, get in the water, and participate in any other antics I drum up on the spot—my favorite people!

It’s all in the details… Allyssa & Ryan’s wedding last weekend was perfect in all the ways and there were so many wonderful details to capture— which we all know those detail shots are my favorite. After knowing and photographing these two for over a year now, it was so special watching them commit to forever together.

More to come… ✨

Early morning session for the beautiful Berry family 🌊

This one was extra fun because I shot the other Berry family last Summer, and as you can probably assume by the name, they’re related! I thought it was so cool that I was able to photograph another extension of the family almost exactly one year later at the same location. Loved spending time with this little unit so much.
