TIME TRIPPING X VIBRATIONS 🕰️⚡️

Back with another double, second day ont trot - this prolly isn’t going to be a daily thing but I’m running with my new hyper-focus 🤣

Want to get a few of these out a week. It helps with my confidence on camera and with my current mental health state 🙌

Anyway this is an absolute gnarly blend. The undisputed classic Time Tripping by my man @djhazard_ and Vibrations by @harleyd_dnb 🔥

Clip from my 2025 @beat_herder set I wanted to highlight in spirit of me soon to be recording my ‘2026 that never was’ set 😆

Wanted to start doing more in depth posts around musical knowledge and cross share this on @wave.events.uk - my rehab is ongoing but my brain is still fully locked in on the scene ❤️

Anyway, this is my favourite track of the whole of last year’s performance, a dub of @pendulum - Girl in the Fire VIP. A rip actually taken from an @adamfmusic vinyl dub cut and posted on ‘The Vault’ YouTube a couple years ago.

Rolling from from the awesome ‘Carnival Business’ by @saxxongram , the VIP has a structurally different, simpler build-up specifically engineered for DJ sets to unleash the full power of the drop.

The original is bit hard to mix, with its build-up of layered instruments, it often clashes with other tracks and is a shame to overcomplicate that beautiful intro.

Girl in the Fire has got to be my all-time favourite Pendulum production. Insanely clean and well layered with strings, guitars, vocals, synths you can pick out at any time through the 4:53 run time. Energy is through the roof with an almost jungle-esque vibe about it. taken in The Beat-Herder Festival by @wave.events.uk

Leeds DNB legend @loz_contreras full set from our March event of last year is now live on YouTube! 🔥🤩

Link in our bio 🔗

We’ve been sitting on this one for a while and finally got round to releasing it! 🙌

Loz absolutely smashed it on the warm up duties! It’s an absolute belter of a set that went down a treat! Relive it today in your living room, or at your desk working 😉

We’ve got more sets like this coming! Stay tuned.

⭐️ WAVE UPDATE VIDEO ⭐️

Eyup! @josh_wave has a few words now we’re a few weeks after the big 5th Birthday event!

Thank you for the past five years and for being part of our celebration on the 8th of last month 🫶

We’ve made the decision to take some time til’ early 2027.

Josh is recovering from a multiple trauma incident he was involved in are beginning of July and the rest of the crew need some time for personal stuff!

BUTTT, patience is a virtue, we’ll be back bigger than ever in 2027 as we’re speaking to multiple agents to book HUGE headliner/s for our return.

We just need some time to recover to be on top form and keep delivering the quality you’re used to! 🤩

The events are on pause but the content will not stop! We have multiple sets to release, older content we’ve been gatekeeping 😆 and Josh has formed a bit of a relationship with the camera, so you ain’t seen the last of him this year 🤣

You may even see a clip later this evening!

Anyway bigup! 🙌

Here’s to the next 5 years! 🔥
