If you’ve been wanting to see Palate Cleanser, this is likely your last chance to do so in OKC. Pizza (she/her/hissss) is proud to share that her screen debut will be showing in OKC once again THIS SUNDAY, March 1st, at 2:00pm at the second annual @okiewomenff at The Yale Theatre. @yaleokc Tickets are just $10 at the door or FREE with a donation of feminine hygiene products. Our team (which is majority female-led) is thrilled about being included in this celebration of Oklahoma women filmmakers. We think what Lily @lilybellatucker and the team are doing is fantastic. We hope to see as many of you there as possible! Tickets are sold at the door only so make sure to get there early to snag a spot. Stick around afterward for a quick Q&A, as our writer/director/stars will be in attendance and can’t wait to share our film with a new audience! CAST

12/29 I got to work with the amazing Kelsie Kiley and Nora Graham to shoot the funding sizzle reel for their exciting new project, "The Gift" It was a terribly cold day, but the first real test for my new Red Monstro, and the images did not disappoint! The coolest thing about this shoot was that I was back in Horner Park almost exactly a year after the first major collaboration with all the members of @filminabag - it's amazing to see how far we've all come in just a year. taken in Horner Park, Chicago by @waveform.arts

"When I was a boy, and when Dwayne Hoover was a boy, all the people of all the nations which had fought in the First World War were silent during the eleventh minute of the eleventh hour of Armistice Day, which was the eleventh day of the eleventh month. It was during that minute in nineteen hundred and eighteen, that millions upon millions of people stopped butchering one another. I have talked to old men who were on battlefields during that minute. They have told me in one way or another that the sudden silence was the Voice of God. So we still have among us some men who can remember when God spoke clearly to mankind. Armistice Day has become Veterans' Day. Armistice Day was sacred. Veterans' Day is not. So I will throw Veterans' Day over my shoulder. Armistice Day I will keep. I don't want to throw away sacred things. What else is sacred? Oh, Romeo and Juliet, for instance. And all music is." - Kurt Vonnegut, Breakfast of Champions 1973 This excerpt, on my part, is only to wish that days like today and Armistice Day and any other day of the year made to acknowledge war does so in a way that emphasizes the end of war, the moment a few people in a room sign a treaty and say it's over. Thanks to all honorable soldiers who served, gave their lives, or are serving now. taken in London, United Kingdom by @waveform.arts

Really grateful for an all-too-brief stay in the UK. I forgot that travel can show you that there's a million ways to live a good life, as well as remind you where and who you want to be when you get back home. Sidenote: Brexit is talked about a LOT on trains. Travel pics incoming taken in London, United Kingdom by @waveform.arts
