When we travel to Hawaii, we often find ourselves seeking out the little things that make everyday island life feel as authentic as possible.
Building connections, making friends, waking up at sunrise to surf, and grabbing breakfast at our favorite little spot 🌺

But this time, we felt the need to hop on a plane and explore a neighboring island, chasing something a little different.. one of the rarest green sand beaches in the world. A geological wonder so extraordinary that only four are known to exist on the entire planet ✨

I still don’t know how to thank this life enough.

I’m living a chapter I could have only ever dreamed of, and somehow, it’s even more beautiful and fulfilling than I ever imagined. ✦ taken in Big Island, Hawaii by @waveinflow

Over the years, we’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with all kinds of places, hotels, Airbnbs, and other unique stays.
But this one was truly unforgettable for me.

Everything was perfect. Without even realizing it, we happened to be there on the night of the full moon, surrounded by the incredible landscape of Joshua Tree, one of my favorite places in California.

The days were warm, while the evenings cooled down just enough to make the most of the jacuzzi and gather around the fire to keep warm. Between the warm water, the crackling fire, and the stillness of the desert at night, it created such an intimate, almost magical atmosphere.

The scent of burning wood and the raw, earthy smell of nature seemed to frame the whole experience.

It was one of those places and moments that stay with you long after you leave. 🌕
