Missing the road today 🛣️

Some more little snippets from our tour for you here…

Loved seeing people’s reactions to our Sun Shows x Kate Bush remix. We’d had that idea for a while and it was dead fun putting it together, glad it went down a storm 🕺 💃 🪩

A couple of clips of some unreleased tracks that went down well too. Once we’ve accepted that our dream labels have ignored our unsolicited emails and aren’t coming to save us from obscurity, we’ll start making plans to get those to your lugs! 🌊👂🏽🎧

Hello.

Had to take a day or two on our backs after some hard yards were put in, feeling almost normal again now though. We just wanted to pass on all our gratitude to everyone that was a part of this tour.

Big thanks to all the venues, the sound techs and their staff for being so accommodating this week. We played some really fun places that we hope to visit again someday soon.

To everyone we played alongside - @peoplepersonmcr, @thebigwater_music, @fern.veh, @icerink_band, @maryfieldtheband and @spacecadetbloom - we couldn’t have done it without you. It was truly lovely to meet you all and we hope we get a chance to do it again with all of you.

And finally, everyone that bought tickets and came to watch us, we truly appreciate you taking a chance on us and being so supportive. We got some great responses back at these shows, we put our necks on the line a bit with this run of dates but seeing people dancing around and cheering on made it all feel totally worth it.

That’s it for gigs for us for a while now, but, y’kna, keep listening to our music n that. Silence and Tolerance, the last two tracks we played at all dates, are out now in all the usual places. Keep your ear to the streets too, we’ve got plenty to keep you occupied with til we’re back on the road again. 🌊

Here’s a little video of the back end of the tour in Edinburgh and Glasgow. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Hello!

You can now listen to Silence and Tolerance on your preferred streaming service from today. Links to some of these can be found in our stories and on our linktree. If you’ve not listened to either yet, I imagine this is your easiest opportunity to do so. 🎧

We’re dead proud of these two, recorded earlier this year with the man @joshingledew at @blankstudios. Topped off with mastering by @yellowcathouseaudio. Solid work all around 💪🏽

Both written while Binho and Steven were still part of the line up, they deserve as much credit as Bob and I for how good they sound today. Sadly we didn’t get a chance to record them while Binho was still on UK soil, grateful to have Steve’s excellent drumming across these though. 🥁

This fine artwork you’ve set your eyes on was put together by @dan_m.jpg, who also designed the t-shirts we’ll have on sale at our tour dates. Delighted with how both look, we definitely recommend Dan for all your design needs. 👨‍🎨

We’ll be playing both of these tracks on tour, tickets for all dates are still available. Come see us play your new favourite songs. 🌊

Super Saturdays in the Offquay, fine tuning the hits with a little help from Greggs, Guinness and GOATS 🐐 nice

One week until we kick off our little jaunt around the country with a cosy home leg in the basement of @weareyourlastresort. Tickets for that are in the single digits now, get a wriggle on cho

Popped in yesterday to say hello and one of the regulars was fairly adamant that he’d just sneak in cos he drinks there all the time, you try that and you’ll be on the receiving end of a rather awkward conversation

Buy a bastard ticket, we’re gan on tour man. Price of petrol’s through the roof

GLASGOW

Two weeks until our final stop of the tour brings us to the home of some of the finest music ever committed to tape. Texas, Simple Minds, Travis, the list is endless. Last, but certainly not least, we play @therecordfactory on Thursday 6th August.

We’re going out with a bang for this one. Not only do @icerink_band join us for a second evening, we’re over the moon to announce that @spacecadetbloom have been added to the bill! What a line up. Don’t say we never spoil you. 🚀

I’m rather bored of typing the word tickets at this point, but you know the drill by now I’d imagine. Come see us off in style. 🌊

EDINBURGH

Two weeks until we’re up in Scotland’s wonderful capital. We play the legendary @sneakypetesclub on Wednesday 5th August.

We’re joined by two quality supports in @icerink_band and @maryfieldtheband, make sure to get along in time to catch them.

This is a big one for us, so buying tickets in advance (before the day of the gig, ideally very soon) is really really important. ⚠️

Drop us a DM if you’re wanting to come and we’ll sort you out. 🌊

Does your attention span last 47 seconds? Will you be intrigued enough to put the sound on? Will you even read this caption? The content wars go on.

There is a subtle message in here though, but in case it’s too subtle you can flick to the second slide for clarity. Not the best picture, but hopefully you get the picture.

New Waves tees, available to buy at any of our upcoming tour dates until we sell out. Design by @dan_m.jpg, stellar work.

As if I even need to say it, but I will, of course, buying one of these not only makes you look utterly fabulous, but goes a long way to making sure our tour runs smoothly.

As does buying tickets to said tour before the day of the gig, so if you can find it in your heart (wallet) to give us a bit of an easier ride, we won’t forget you in a hurry. Link in bio/relentless stories/google search 🔍
