Gotta have some culture on a trip too, right? We visited Delos, a Unesco World Heritage site near Mykonos. History literally under your feet, like we noticed as we were walking around and stepping on old pottery.

For a couplenof hours we were wondering about the ancient ruins of Delos, the birthplace of Apollo and Artemis. This island was so sacred no-one else was allowed to be born there, or die, so citizens used to get booted out to nearby island to do both. It was so hot though I did think I might keel over any moment from heat exhaustion... Still here though! 😁 taken in Delos Island, Greece by @wavetomummy

Loved our visit to Amorgos - a slightly less visited island in the Cyclades. Cliff hikes, beach swims, cats galore, a wedding and a monastery visit within our three days there provided plenty entertainment. If youve ever seen the Luc Besson film The Big Blue, you might recognise a few of these places 😍

Been an active and restorative time. Cycladic Islands, five islands so far. Many beautiful sunsets, cultural sights, good Greek food, a wedding, swimming everyday day, and now soon to go home. Santorini, Naxos, Mykonos, Delos and Amorgos - been wonderful 🇬🇷❤️

What a cool experience - 90% eclipse in London 😎 I can totally appreciate the eclipse chasers who travel to see the big one live... and I am now starting to plan a trip to Southern Spain for next year August 😎

Ad / Until 12th July in Excel London. Cleopatra - The Experience. This was a cool modern exhibition - a bit of metaverse and VR, immersive video rooms, some artefacts, and a lot of learning. Have you been to this?

... something to keep in mind for next year!

We did ice skating, a real ice slide, meeting Santa, and the Magical Ice Kingdom. These are my favourite things in Hyde Park Winter Wonderland and the ones I would usually book. Kids obviously want a few rides and games too, and churros on tap 😄

Not going to lie, this is a spenny treat, so glad this is just once a year 😉

Ad | Finally got to see all the Christmas lights of London, and properly see them too, up close and almost personal 😄 We joined the tour of the London Christmas lights with @hamleysofficial tour bus. Fun but a chilly ride so next time I'll definitely bring a blanket too! 🧑‍🎄

A little Christmas treat curtesy of John Lewis Oxford Street- a members lounge with a complimentary drink and snacks, closing at Christmas Eve 5PM. What a lovely surprise - they take in walk-ins 15 min past the hour. I think the lounge is all year around(?) but usually you have to pay for your drink 🍸😉

We did see Santa too at the grotto! And a treasure trail round the shop. Very festive 🧑‍🎄

A week in the sun, ah 😎 In terms of a half term holiday Tenerife really hit the spot. All-inclusive hotel in South Tenerife, swimming everyday, and a few very cool excursions (dolphins, volcano and golf) - excellent time had by all. Expect to see a bit more sunny Reels from me for a while as I adjust to the world of work again and dream of the sun 😆

AD I didn't think I'd like this museum nearly as much as I did - but I thought it was great fun. Twist Museum, with optical illusions and plenty of photo ops, takes about one to one and a half hours to go through. We easily spent the full time as really enjoyed trying all the different illusions and learned loads. They are now doing a Halloween trail for kids too!

We rarely get family photos... But this time we got a few thanks to our @gett_uk driver when doing a quick black cab sightseeing tour of Westminster area the other week. This was a charity event, with proceeds going to Joshua Hayday Trust and Whizz Kidz - very worthy causes.

Honestly, the best way for good vibes at the Notting Hill Carnival - being in a Mas Band! Thanks to @gemz.mas for an awesome time out at the @nhcarnivalldn 👌🥰

We attended the Kids Day with Gemz Mas, and we were part of David Attenborough / Blue Planet inspired sea creatures, walking with another two sea-inspired Mas Bands, with soca blaring out for the 6-7hrs it took to walk round Notting Hill. An amazing experience, definitely recommend it! Any questions - add in the comments!
