ISO 12,800 in church, 2016. One my most embarrassing moments behind a camera.

We are building Wavy Academy so you dont make mistakes like our Founder 😏😭

I didn't have a camera when I started photography.
Somehow, that story led to me building Wavy Academy.

Life is really interesting 😅

You can learn the camera.
You can learn Lightroom.
You can learn all the technical stuff.

But photography is more than knowing what every button does.

It’s knowing what to see.

That’s what we’re building at Wavy Academy ,a place to learn photography, but also to develop the eye behind the camera.

See first. Shoot later.

Wavy Academy is coming. 📸

Before you press the shutter, learn to see.

A great photograph doesn’t begin with the camera. It begins with noticing the light, the shadows, the subject, the composition, the moment.

See. Control. Shoot.

That’s the mindset we’re building at Wavy Academy. 📸

Instagram changed the way it writes.
We’re interested in changing the way you see.

Look closer.
Notice the light. Notice the shadows. Notice the moments people walk past.

That’s where photography begins.

Wavy Academy is coming.

I’ve been talking about Wavy Academy for a while now, so I thought it was finally time to come on here and talk to you myself. 😅

There’s still a lot happening behind the scenes, but we’re getting closer to bringing it to life.

Wavy Academy is coming.

And I’m really excited for you to see what we’re building. 📸

Photography starts long before you pick up a camera.

It starts with noticing the light. The shadows. The moment. The story. The details everyone else walks past.

See first. Shoot later.

That’s the kind of photographer we’re building at Wavy Academy. 📸

Your camera can capture a moment.
But only you can see it first.
See first. Shoot later.

Every photographer will fall.

Missed shots.
Wrong settings.
Creative blocks.
Self-doubt.

The goal isn’t to never fall.

The goal is to have something that catches you before you give up.

That’s what we’re building.

Wavy Academy
See First. Shoot Later.
