I’ve never spoken about this publicly before.

This is the part of my story I usually skip over — the years where I isolated myself, let my health fall apart, dropped out of law school and genuinely didn’t know what was left.

I’m not posting this for sympathy. I’m posting it because it’s my story, and because someone scrolling past might be sitting exactly where I was.

If that’s you: there is always light at the end of the tunnel. Always.

360. Down to 270. Back up to 307.

Every photo in here is me in the last three years. Same person, completely different bodies. Swipe through and you’ll see how many versions of me there’ve been.

That’s the past.

Here’s what I’m actually doing.

I’m starting again this week and I’m putting the whole thing up here. Every few weeks, same three photos, same spot, same lighting. Good months and bad ones. Weeks I gain, weeks I can’t be bothered, weeks it’s going well.

I’ve done this quietly before and quietly is how I quit. So this time you’re all watching.

I’m Gary. 27. Christian, Spurs fan, and usually the one everyone comes to when something’s gone wrong.

I’ve spent a decade watching my life happen slightly out of reach. Trips I didn’t take. Rooms I didn’t walk into. Later kept arriving and I kept not being ready.

So what’s different now? I’ve stopped waiting to feel ready.

Six months. Documented properly — good weeks and humbling ones.
