We’ve got news… by @wax.merchant

Hi 👋

We’ve had lots of new followers recently, so it felt like a good time to introduce ourselves (again).

We’ve shared a bit about us before, but if you’re new here, hello 😊

Our journey with records started as a way to collect memories. Each record we picked up on our travels became a little souvenir of a great night, festival, or party. What started as a small collection soon grew - James’ record bag turned into a Kallax, then two… and, well, you know how it goes 🫣

What began as a hobby evolved into Wax Merchant, a way to share music we love with others. James has been DJ’ing and producing for the last 8+ years (@swalesmusic for those wondering), releasing on labels like Polydor, Dansu Discs, Plastik People & Another Rhythm, and even travelling for gigs across Europe and beyond 🌏

Up until the end of last year, Wax Merchant was a side hustle alongside our corporate jobs. Amie left the corporate world at the end of 2025 to work on Wax Merchant full time and James joined in Summer 2026! Every late night, early morning, and kitchen table session has been worth it, and we’re more excited than ever for what’s ahead 👀

We’ve recently launched a new version of the website, and it’s definitely come a long way since we started, but this is only the beginning.

Follow along for the journey, and who knows, you might even discover some new favourite tracks along the way.

@andrezimmer_ returns with the Another Luv EP on @iminbigbigtrouble. It blends 90s-inspired deep house with bass-heavy percussion and powerful vocals. Tracks like ‘Another Luv’ and ‘Want Me’ deliver euphoric energy, while ‘Sleazinator’ moves into deep, percussive afterhours territory. ‘Z String’ rounds off with contrasting bass and strings. This ones a personal favourite ❤️‍🔥

Limited copies available to pre-order now at Wax Merchant 👀 by @wax.merchant
