🔊 Saturday at Lulo– Wax Cache Night 🔊

This Saturday, Wax Cache @wax_cache takes over LuLo for a night dedicated to vinyl, dance music, and deep cuts across the spectrum of underground sounds.

What is Wax Cache?
Wax Cache is a project specifically focused on vinyl and dance music, making records more available and affordable for DJs and listeners around Nashville. Beyond records, Wax Cache is about building community—connecting music lovers through a curated selection of house, techno, trance, garage, bass, jungle, and more.

🔥 Mr. Murray – @murraycarole Brooklyn-based vinyl purist and founder of Ladies On Wax and FTF Records, known for psychedelic elements, ‘90s trance, hypnotic techno, and progressive sounds. She has played at Berlin’s legendary venues like Hoppetosse and ://About Blank.

⚡ Ontology @jjjjjjjjgjgjgjgjgj – Nashville-based jungle producer and DJ, bringing oldskool hardstep and jungle tekno with Akai and Amiga hardware power. Releases on Future Retro, Meditator Music, Amenology, and Yellow Jacket Records.

🔊 Ken Finch @bundlex_24 – A 25-year drum & bass and breakbeat selector, drawn to groovy, dreamy, and weird sounds. A firm believer that DJing is for everyone.

✨ Doors at 9PM
💸 Free before 10PM

well i wish i could share some exciting new years updates with y’all but unfortunately thats not the case with this post.

the store in its previous configuration is closing because our landlords increased the warehouse rent and things just didn’t add up anymore.

we’ll be taking a little hiatus to figure out what next steps feel right. i don’t think the obsession with vinyl is likely to fade away so we’ll probably continue to operate in some very reduced capacity.

in the meantime
1) group orders are definitely still feasible so let me know if you’d like to join forces to save on shipping
2) i still have a pretty large set of inventory so if you’d like to browse the collection you can still dm me to setup a time
3) 1200s with needles and concrete still available to rent

a BIG thanks to the people that helped get this project off the ground and contributed to the shop: @terbosterbo @_volast @nicholas_latiff

another BIG thanks to all the djs that played our block party events! and came to spin at the open deck nights.

finally a BIG thanks to everyone who came to shop at the store :) it was so special and exciting for me to see all of your faces light up listening to the music.

ok well, 2024 yup >.< by @wax_cache
