We’ve been getting hit, but we’re hitting back harder. Our song “Spit You Out” on the Music Is For Everyone Vol. II compilation is out now. Our song is about living as your full self and staying tough as nails when the world wants to erase you. All proceeds support the @aclu_nationwide ‘s mission to protect free speech and the rights of queer people.

Music For Everyone Vol. 2 is a compilation curated by John Nolan of @takingbacksunday and @straylightrun to support the efforts of the American Civil Liberties Union. It is out now on @bornlosersrecords Head over to musicforeveryone.love to grab a vinyl and stream the record.

We are extremely honored to be a part of this project. The ACLU continues to do the hard work to protect the rights of trans and queer people like me.

Come celebrate everything beautiful about being queer tonight in Cleveland or at any of our remaining tour dates ❤️‍🔥

Our debut album “It Takes Guts!” is finally here. Stream it, buy it, dance to it - we made it for all of us ❤️

This record is the culmination of years of work from everyone in the band. Long writing and recording sessions, disagreements, late nights working on crazy shit we didn’t think you’d need to do to put out an album, a lot of long fucking drives - all of it went to building this album. It was grueling at times but we all knew it was something we had to do. There’s a lot of love in this band, and we hope you hear it on the record.

We owe massive thank you’s to so many people. @mhwatter our engineer and producer, @richiedevon_ our engineer, @vinnybarreras for putting us on for the first EP and really believing in us the moment we entered the world, @bornlosersrecords for taking that work further than we could have ever imagined, @askaboutmyfilms for being a band bestie and making our videos, @aesthetic_griff for brining our art concepts to life, and to all of our friends, families and everyone we’ve gotten to work with, meet, rip a show with through the existence of this band.

Being in a project with this much love and support is something we never take for granted. We’re so thankful that we get to share this record with you all, we hope you love it as much as we do❣️

IT TAKES GUTS turns 1!!! 🎈 🎂

it’s hard to believe it’s already been a year since this record came out. we know it’s a little cliché but there was so much love, blood, sweat and at times literally tears that went into making this record. no one ever talks about how much it takes to bring an album to life but it’s hard work (!!!), so getting to travel the world bringing these songs to so many new people since its release has been nothing short of a dream come true and we hope you all felt the energy we poured into they album at every show we played in the last 12 months.

our next show is this Friday @undrgroundarts supporting @sweetpilll , there’s still a handful of tickets left. come celebrate one year of IT TAKES GUTS and all the joy it’s brought into our lives. thanks for listening for the past year ❤️

enjoy this little clip of us recording Eyes Are Heavy with Frank from @drdogmusic 🤝

FIRST WAX JAW EURO TOUR IN THE BAG❤️‍🔥

we’re finally all back home from overseas and it’s so difficult trying to find the right words to capture this tour that was so full of love, connection and just the craziest shit we’ve ever been lucky enough to do. Every space felt unique, every person welcomed us with incredible warmth, and every crowd felt like the best we’ve ever played to. A huge thank you to our label @bornlosersrecords and our booker Filippo over at @annibalebooking for making this the tour of a lifetime. Another thank you to every venue that hosted and put us up for the night, every person that cooked for us and shared some of the best meals of our lives with, and every single person who came out to a show in a cities we’ve never stepped foot in not only to hear our music but to connect with us as people. We loved getting to meet you all and we hope to be back to the EU as soon as we can❤️
