A few months ago I finished my very first quilt! This was made as a wedding gift to some very dear friends. I used @waxandwanestudio ‘s rune patterns for the blocks, specifically the Stars and Water bundle. It is very wonky but I had so much fun making it and am very lucky to have a husband who documented some of the process and took very nice final shots. He even got me all set up outside when I mentioned the weather was too nice to be inside sewing all day (: thanks for looking! by @waxleaf

Sometimes you start sewing a batch of quilted scarves in December and finish them in the middle of a heatwave in July 😬
Certainly not perfect, forgot to square up my blocks so they got a bit wonky, but they sure are cozy! The winter scarf is living with a dear friend so it’s not included in the final pile. Patterns are the butter + sugar scarves by @matchymatchysewingclub
