Today, the entire @smufb squad filled the seats at @shorelinecity, worshiping side by side and lifting up the name of Jesus.

It’s a powerful reminder that football is more than a game—it’s an opportunity to grow as men, brothers, and leaders who put God first in everything. 🏈

Big shoutout to @rhett_lashlee for setting that example every single day— guiding these young men toward the Lord both on and off the field, and showing that faith is the ultimate foundation for success in life. 🙌

Yesterday, 85 @smufb players & staff came together at @shorelinecity to hear a powerful message from @earlmcclellan 🙌

“Are you going through life like a walk-through? Or war?”

Just like on the football field, we’re called to be prepared for battle at all times. 🛡️

Moments like these are truly surreal when you get to watch a team grow stronger… not just on the field, but in their walk with the Lord. This is what our mission is all about! ❤️

Happy Father’s Day to the man who carries more than most people will ever see.

The name Wayne means Builder. Heavy load bearer. Honestly, no one could’ve named him more accurately.
This year has been a lot. The kind of heavy that doesn’t photograph well. The kind that sits on your chest at 2am. The kind that makes you question: Am I enough? Am I doing enough? Is this enough? Yet, every single morning, he gets up and builds our family, our marriage, our ministry, and our future.

So this post is just me, writing for the world to see what I want him to actually know.

Our kids still run to the door when they hear him pull up. Every time. The sound of the door, his keys, his voice… it does something to them. It does something to me too. He keeps showing up. In the big moments and the invisible ones. In the seasons that have been hard to explain and harder to carry.

Wayne, we see you. We see what you do when no one’s watching. We see the weight. We see the choice you make, every day, to keep choosing us.
We love you. More than you probably let yourself believe right now.

FIFTEEN?!?! Really?! 😭💘 Time flies when you’re having fun, I guess.

Happy birthday to the girl who made us parents. Watching you grow has been one of the greatest joys of our lives.

You are beautiful, but even more beautiful is your heart. You are thoughtful, compassionate, creative, funny, determined, and capable of bringing so much light into every room you enter. You make us laugh, challenge us, keep us on our toes, and remind us daily that raising a daughter is both the sweetest gift and the quickest thief of time.

It feels impossible that the little girl in these throwback photos is now becoming a young woman with her own dreams, opinions, talents, friendships, and adventures ahead of her.

Every year I find myself wishing I could freeze time just a little longer. But I wouldn’t trade the privilege of watching you become exactly who God created you to be.

Naomi, we love you more than you’ll ever fully understand. We are so proud of you. We are cheering for you. And we are incredibly grateful that out of all the girls in the world, God chose you to make us Mom and Dad.

Stacey,

17 years of marriage. 20 years of doing life together. Somehow you’ve put up with me for two decades, and honestly, that alone should come with a medal.

You’ve worn every hat. Best friend. Counselor when life got heavy. The voice that talked me off the ledge when I doubted myself. My teammate in every dream and every battle. My peace when things got loud. The heart of our home, and a phenomenal mom to our kids.

We’ve survived diapers, late nights, every ministry move, business, a teenager, and a whole lot of my ideas, which honestly deserves its own trophy. You’ve carried things quietly that most people will never see, and you’ve shown up with strength and grace through every season. The exciting ones. The hard ones. And the ones where you probably wondered what you signed up for.

There’s nobody else I’d want to build a life with.

So much of anything good in my life has your fingerprints on it. Our marriage, our kids, our ministry, our friendships, our home. All of it is stronger because of who you are. God has used your faith, wisdom, and love to shape me into a better husband, father, and man.

Proverbs 18:22 says, “He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord.” 20 years in, I can tell you that verse isn’t just true. It’s an understatement.

Thank you for believing in me. Thank you for choosing me all those years ago. And thank you for continuing to choose us.

Happy Anniversary, babe. I’d build this life with you over, and over, and over again without changing a single thing.
