A pic from back in the day when I moved to the Samoan islands to live with my uncle Jack, my mother’s brother. I attended Marist Brothers catholic School in Apia. Not speaking the language was probably the hardest part for me, but I made adjustments. During my time there, I was immersed in humidity (lol) and learned some important values: the significance of gratitude and the importance of being of service to others. Yesterday marked a sorrowful moment for our family as we mourn the passing of my sister Tara’s youngest son, Kasey Dakota Watson at the young age of 27. Words cannot express the depth of our grief. Kasey, you will be forever in our hearts. Until we meet again, nephew. I love you. by @wayne_lua
