Sometimes sh!t happens.

Some crashes are harder to get up from than others, and this one floored me.

The last few days have been pretty heavy. but after watching the crash, I’m incredibly grateful I walked away with no broken bones. I did, however, suffer a kidney injury and ended up with a pretty sore body after taking a hard hit.

I rode off the hill on my own, drove myself to the hospital, and ended up staying for two days while they monitored my kidney.

Now it’s time to heal up. You can’t keep a good man down. I might be down and out for now, but I’ll be back soon. 💪

Josh: “Do we need the buggy?”
Me: “NO!😂

Totally grateful ✝️

POV: You spend all week hyping yourself up for Fort Hill top section …

You roll off the start deck feeling dialed… and immediately almost OTB OFF the start deck. 💀

Clipped the bars, full panic moment, and I’m yelling “LARRY! LARRY! LARRY! LARRY!” before my tow disappears down the trail like he’s never heard of me.

Hard reset. Back to the start deck. Try again.full success… 🙌

Pinkbike comments loading… “Skill issue.” 😂🙌

Big jumps don’t get easier—they just get louder in your head.
Decades in, at 66, I still fight for every send.
That’s the difference: the youth got steez, I’ve got grit.
And I always make sure to laugh at the end.”😂
