BRANDY AND BOTTLES OF WINE. OUT NOW ON ALL STREAMING PLATFORMS. . This marks the start of the countdown to the release of my second album ‘So Much Joy’ which will be out on 29th January 2027. . Brandy is a song that you’ve all been waiting for a long time. It was written back in January 2024 during a spell of dry January. It’s a song that is close to my heart and we love to play it as a band. It’s a song about seeking answers in the dark. . Thank you to the boys in the band for their incredible musicianship and support and to Gus for his direction in the studio. . Composition/Lyrics/Acoustic Guitar/Lead Vocals: @philmaguiremusic Drums: @benswanmusic Bass: @samcrooksmusic Organ/Keys: Alex Campbell . Produced/Mixed/Additional Guitar: @guswhiteproducer Mastered: @waynepromix Artwork: @jacksonwooten . @brenockoconnor hadn’t joined the Balladeers at the time of recording this song but he is on most of the rest of the album and has played this song live numerous times so must be mentioned because he is a legend. by @waynepromix

HERE TO STAY. OUT TODAY. ❤️ It’s been a long journey to get to this point, with plenty of stops, starts, twists and turns along the way. But today, I get to share something I’m genuinely so proud of. Getting this album over the line while navigating the biggest change in my life, becoming a dad, has been challenging at times, but also incredibly rewarding and inspiring. In many ways, becoming a parent has given me a whole new perspective on what I do and why I do it. When I started this journey, I set myself a goal. I wanted to make an album that, if it turned out to be my last recording, would stand as a true reflection of who I am as a musician. Something I could look back on years from now and feel proud of. Something that represents me, my songs and everything I’ve put into this. I genuinely believe I’ve done that. Anything that comes beyond this is an absolute bonus. There are so many people I need to thank for helping make this record what it is. To my amazing band @gregsheff @eddysmithmusic @joel_mayes thank you for bringing these songs to life. To @mikeohneill, without whom this album simply wouldn’t exist. To @waynepromix for the mix and master, @jbsonics for the great sessions, and to @assez_collage for the incredible artwork. I’m so grateful to all of you for being part of this journey. And finally, to my son. You’re the reason I do everything I do. I hope one day you’ll understand just how much you’ve inspired me, even at this tiny stage of your life. ❤️ To everyone who has listened, shared a song, come to a show, bought a record or supported me along the way, thank you. It genuinely means the world. HERE TO STAY is out now. I hope you love this album as much as I do. Let’s make tomorrow one to remember. See you all at the album launch at the 229 in London! Love you all. ❤️ by @waynepromix

Big release day today! The brand new album from Ben Poole ‘Post Midnight Behaviour’ is released. A long time in the making this one. All the songs originating from some jams and playing around with ideas between Ben, Steve Amadeo and myself at Superfly Studios. It was then back to my studio where Ben, Oli Brown and myself took these sketches and turned them into fully fledged songs, crafting, shaping them all bit by bit into the album that’s now available. A super fun creative process making this album, intense for sure, but extremely satisfying when we all traversed any bumps in the road we experienced. For me this album contains some of Bens strongest material to date, my own particular favourites being ‘No Second Chances’ ‘Empty’ ‘Living On Repeat’ ‘Summer Haze’ and ‘Start Of The End’ but to be honest I love them all for different reasons. Really proud of the team on this album, Ben played his ass off, showed real growth in his performances and real maturity. It’s a deep record, an emotional album, and I feel one that reveals more each and every listen. Really hope you all enjoy it as much we did making it! 'Price at the Pump' is out today! The song was written after reading articles about the ever increasing gap between people with money and those without. The chorus refers to the growing demand of medication to ease the feelings of hopelessness in these difficult times and a sense that the whole establishment needs a complete overhaul. Lua Bairstow has added a moving spoken-word message about the lack of connection between the government and the general working public and that'll be in the launch show at @kcc_shipley as Lua's part of my backing band - I also managed to get @krishtguitarist to drop some extra magic on this one. @waynepromix mixed it and the rest of the album, which is released on Friday 16th October via @wipeoutmusic & @republicofmusic - you can pre-order via @bandcamp by @waynepromix
