🏆 CHAMPIONS. $20,000. AND THEY WANT IT AGAIN. 💰

Wayno of the Thurgood Marshall Cougars helped his squad to win the Alumni Tournament championship and a $20,000 prize. 🏆🔥

But they are not satisfied.

Next year, the goal is simple: WIN IT ALL AGAIN.

The Cougars came, competed, and took home the money. Now Wayno is already thinking about the next run. 👀

THE WORK STARTS HERE. 🏀

Freshman year isn’t just about making the team, it’s about building discipline, confidence, leadership, and work ethic.

This was more than a basketball clinic. It was an opportunity for young athletes to learn, compete, and grow both on and off the court.

Thank you to every player, parent, coach, volunteer, and guest who made the Hoop 3thic Back to School Freshman Clinic a success❗️

💬 What’s one lesson every freshman athlete should learn before the season starts?

Coach Wayno | Back to School Incoming Freshman Clinic 🏀 Powered by Hoop 3thic Training

Before stepping onto the court, Coach Wayno wanted every freshman to understand one thing:

Basketball can open doors, but leadership, effort, and character will determine how far you go.

From the classroom session with Mekhi Elmore to the drills on the court, every lesson was designed to prepare these athletes for more than just the upcoming season. They learned what coaches expect, the value of hard work, and how those same habits translate into success in life.

Coach Wayno’s message to every incoming freshman:
“Be confident in yourself. Listen first, understand what’s going on, then apply it to your life goals and your basketball goals.”

This is more than basketball. It’s preparing the next generation of leaders ‼️
