I have spent the last few years moving between countries, classrooms, film sets, research, unfinished ideas, and versions of myself I no longer recognize.

Somewhere inside all of that, Wazo started forming.

At first it was just notes.
Questions I kept returning to.
How people carry memory across borders.
What migration does to identity.
What it means to search for home while constantly rebuilding yourself in public.

Then the ideas slowly became projects.

Films.
Research.
Archives.
Tools.
Conversations.
Systems built from lived experience.

This page is where all of those things will live together.

Right now I am developing Wazo.Work, a platform helping people navigate moving abroad with more clarity and less confusion, while also building interactive documentary and archive projects exploring diaspora, storytelling, authorship, and memory.

A lot of this is still becoming.
Still unfinished.
Still growing in real time.

But I think there is something beautiful about building before everything feels complete.

After months of pushing through silence, rejections, and long nights—we’re excited to say that Fearless is finding its way into the world.

This story was never meant to be easy.
Because for many, it’s not fiction.

Fearless follows a young Nigerian lesbian who survived a brutal betrayal at the hands of people who were supposed to protect her.
She didn’t get justice.
So she rebuilt her life—and her power—one breath, one fight, one act of courage at a time.

Today, we’re proud to share that Fearless has been officially selected for the Toronto International Nollywood Film Festival (TINFF)—one of the biggest platforms we’ve reached so far.

And this is just the beginning.

We’ve quietly collected 8 festival selections across Europe, Asia, and beyond—including one Best LGBTQ+ Short Film award and an Honorable Mention for Best Short.

We’re done being quiet.
More announcements are coming.
We’re ready to tell this story, and we hope it finds the people who need it most.

For anyone who’s ever had to fight for their safety,
