Gurez Valley tucked away in Bandipora, J&K, right along the LOC. 8,000 ft up in the Himalayas, hugging the Kishanganga river, cut off from the world for 6 months a year by snow.Habba Khatoon peak watches over the whole valley, named after the Kashmiri poetess queen herself. Dawar village is where life happens, and if you go deeper, Tulail valley is even more untouched.This is why it’s still this raw.
