Thrilled to watch @mgm.mo unveil their “Garden Wonderland” at The Spectacle!
🍄🍄 Spotted our toadstool for this summer installation, tailored to align with the hotel’s blend of luxury storytelling and seasonal magic.

The space of The Spectacle is a massive architectural greenhouse with shifting natural light, and we designed the structure to morph with the scene from morning sun to evening glow.

Look closer at the toadstool—behind the designs and calculations lies a gravity-defying secret. Go watch the garden come alive ~

GALA — The Pause of Life

A pause between places. A coffee, a meal, a conversation. A moment to slow down and stay awhile.

For GALA, WCI LAB shaped an identity around this feeling — warm Art Deco, soft nostalgia, and the gentle swirl of coffee steam.
A visual language for gathering, indulging, and simply being present.

For us, this is where branding and spatial design meet: different mediums, but the same purpose — to tell a story and create a feeling.

PINK DUSK — The Legacy Continues 🌸

From Eternal Lotus 25 to a new permanent home at Morpheus, City of Dreams Macau.

Originally created as part of Eternal Lotus 25, Pink Dusk was conceived as a living lotus — a one-tonne kinetic sculpture composed of 104 individual petals, mechanically choreographed to open, move and transform as part of the experience.

Today, we are incredibly happy and honoured to see its story continue.

For its permanent installation at Morpheus, we reimagined Pink Dusk for a new chapter. The original mechanical system has been removed and the structure significantly minimised and refined, while preserving the layered composition, colour and luminous character of the original flower.

It may no longer move, but Pink Dusk continues to bloom through light.

What began as a temporary moment within Eternal Lotus 25 now lives on as a permanent sculpture — carrying the legacy of the project forward and continuing to shine bright for every visitor who passes by.

A flower transformed. A memory preserved. A legacy that continues to bloom.

The mechanics of a static illusion.

This piece relies on Scanimation principles (and precise moiré pattern calculations). We took a continuous galloping sequence, dissected it into distinct, equal frames, and engineered an outer grid with exact spatial gaps. The moment the insert is pulled, the shifting alignment triggers the illusion of dynamic movement.

It’s a simple mechanical execution, but getting the frame-registration and tolerances exact on paper is where the real design happens.
