Could a curated, one-day art show return to VCON 44? We’re exploring the idea—and first we need to find out whether enough artists, makers and art appreciators are interested to make it worth pursuing.

This is research only: not an application, booking, or commitment. The possible format would include original 2D and/or 3D work, plus a print shop for prints of work on exhibit. We’re still confirming the previous commission and any hanging-fee details, so no terms are being set yet.

If you might exhibit, would like to view a curated show, have experience to share, or could help organize, please complete our short interest check by Friday, October 9, 2026.

Travelling to VCON 44: Pick Your Punk from outside Metro Vancouver—or thinking an overnight stay would make the day easier?

VCON 44 is at BCIT Burnaby Campus on Saturday, November 14, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. We’re exploring a nearby hotel group rate and would like to know what would actually be useful.

Our short survey asks about likely stay dates, whether a group rate would affect your decision to attend, and the nightly price range that would work for you.

Link: https://s.wcsfa.org/44-accommodation-survey
Or use the QR code in the image.

Please respond by Friday, September 25. If you can submit your response by end-of-day on Wednesday, September 23, that would be especially helpful. This is planning only—it does not reserve a room or commit you to attending.

Please share with other potential VCON 44 attendees, especially anyone travelling from outside Metro Vancouver.
