🌍 From Cullowhee to Kosovo.When WCU faculty recently visited the ILG School in Pristina, Kosovo, they were welcomed by a familiar face: 2004 alumna Amanda Turiçi.Amanda has been part of the ILG School community for the past four years, where she serves as Head of the Primary Years Program. Since graduating from Western with a degree in Special Education, she's built an international career in education serving in the Peace Corps in Albania before living and teaching in Albania, Thailand, and now Kosovo.We're proud to see Catamounts creating meaningful learning experiences and making an impact around the world. Thanks for representing WCU so well, Amanda! 💛🤘 by @wcu_alumni
