A little spontaneity in San Francisco! ✨

在旅行的時候，跟嘟講到一直很想再多2個耳洞，一個在耳骨，感謝嘟的神來一筆說，不如現在在舊金山給打一打，我想想也是可以耶！就這樣，耳洞打好了！

我一直都是屬於做事情要很有計劃很有準備那種，但這次很隨性的說做就做感覺很好，我應該要再像這樣更隨性。

我的六月
六月似乎在忙忙碌碌，但有有些閒時間中快速渡過

六月，我終於結束了我的夜班生活，不禁回到正常班，也開啟了全新的護理生涯

三年前認為自己是有能力去掌握旅行/流動護理師那種醫院需要你1-2 天立馬上線的人力，我辭掉了正式人員的職位，投入到機動護理師的工作，這三年間，跑了數家醫院，不同科別，每一個單位，每一個科別都讓我的專業和技術更加成長。在每個學習過程當然有苦也有甜，但每一步都是更加奠定自己的能力根基，能有這樣的學習成長機會，我很是感謝🙏

在一切都駕輕就熟後，我終於對夜班感到疲憊，對這份工作開始感到不確定，我知道我沒辦法在臨床呆到我想呆的年紀，即便我對臨床護理是很有熱忱。我便開始尋找不同專科，開始投履歷面試，我在6月底開始了在洗腎室工作。

一個領域我完全沒有接觸過，需要照顧病人也要照顧/學習機器，全新的學習體驗讓一切都很有趣。

當然也不能沒有玩樂

去匹茲堡遊玩時去有名的杜肯斜坡纜車上山，看到很美的市景，還遇到好心人給我2塊買票，因為車票費只收現金，我身上只有3塊錢，感謝那位陌生人😊

新同事約看棒球賽，因為醫院贊助門票，第一次看了克里夫蘭守護者隊的棒球比賽（吉利吉撈以前在美國的隊伍），坐水上計程車，在河邊吃飯，很開心。

六月就這樣結束了

My June

June was busy, but it went by so fast.

This month, I finally finished my night shift job and went back to working day shift. I also started a new chapter in my nursing career.

Three years ago, I decided to become a travel/float nurse because I wanted to challenge myself. During these three years, I worked in different hospitals and different units. Every place taught me something new and helped me become a better nurse. It wasn’t always easy, but I’m thankful for every opportunityto learn and grow. 🙏

After I got comfortable with night shift, I realized it was time for a change. I still love bedside nursing, but I wanted to try a different specialty. At the end of June, I started working in inpatient dialysis.

Everything is new to me. I’m learning how to take care of dialysis patients and also how to use the dialysis machines. It’s challenging, but I’m really enjoying it.

I also visited Pittsburgh and rode the famous Duquesne Incline. The city view was beautiful. A kind stranger even paid for two of my tickets because they only accepted cash and I only had $3 with me. I’m very thankful for his kindness. 😊

My new coworkers also invited me to my first Cleveland Guardians baseball game. We rode the water taxi, had dinner by the river, and had a great time.

Goodbye 2025, hello 2026

Time flies. Soon we will say goodbye to 2025 and say hello to 2026.

2025 was a painful year, but also a year of growth. I came to realize how important it is to love yourself. Loving yourself is not just a phrase. It means setting boundaries with everyone: family, friends, and colleagues. It means listening to yourself and letting go of relationships that no longer serve you.

But when a relationship starts to feel one sided, when there is a lack of respect, emotional maturity, or genuine effort to maintain the connection, holding on only leads to emotional exhaustion. Learning to let go was one of the biggest lessons I learned this year, and it has brought me more peace.

Growth also came with happiness.

In March, I saw my favorite college band, Mayday, in Las Vegas with my college friend. In July, I traveled to London, Cambridge, Oxford, and Edinburgh with my college friend and her daughter. In October, I celebrated my birthday with a lovely trip to Salt Lake City and Yellowstone. Thank you, Tracy, for the amazing Mid Autumn Festival BBQ. It was my first authentic BBQ in 13 years and it truly meant a lot to me. In December, I was grateful for meaningful experiences. One moment that truly stood out was seeing my photo used in Cleveland orchestra Christmas series program book. It was something I never expected and quietly felt proud of.

Thank you to those who have always supported me and stood by my side.
Wishing you a healthy and happy year ahead.

迎接 2026

時間過得飛快，很快就要跟 2025 說再見，迎接 2026。

2025 並不是一個容易的年，是一個自我成長的一年。我慢慢意識到，愛自己真的很重要。而愛自己不是一句口號，不是買奢侈品給自己，今年學會其中愛自己的方式之一，對人設立界線，不管是家人、朋友，還是同事。重視自己的感受，並且放下那些已經不再適合的關係。留時間給自己，給愛的人。

當一段關係開始變得不對等，缺乏尊重、情緒成熟度，或是沒有真正想要維持關係的心，繼續撐下去只會讓人內耗。學會放手，是我今年學到最重要的一課之一，而這也讓我感到內心平靜。

成長的同時，也伴隨著快樂。

今年，我很感謝自己擁有許多珍貴的經驗與小小的收穫。其中一個對我來說很特別的時刻，是看到自己的照片被使用在管弦樂團的節目表中——那是一件我從未想過的事，也讓我在心裡默默感到驕傲。

三月，我和專科朋友在拉斯維加斯看了我專科時期最喜歡的樂團 Mayday。七月，我和專科朋友及她的女兒一起旅行，走訪了倫敦、劍橋、牛津和愛丁堡。十月，我在鹽湖城和黃石公園度過了一趟很美好的生日旅行。謝謝 Tracy 準備的中秋 BBQ，那是我 13 年來第一次過著這麼道地的台灣中秋節，非常難忘。

謝謝一直支持我、站在我身邊的人。
祝福大家在新的一年裡，平安、健康，過得自在。

I didn’t notice it at first, my concert bestie pointed out that my photo was in the Holiday Concert Series program book.
A small surprise that genuinely made me smile.

Classical concerts have become one of my favorite ways to unwind, and the Cleveland Orchestra is not only ranked in the top five in the country, but is also world-class.

If music also speaks to you, you are welcome to join me someday or support this beautiful art form however you wish.

前幾天去聽聖誕節音樂會，朋友忽然推我一下，把節目表內頁拿給我看，我想說ㄟ啊這不是我嘛！我的照片居然被放在克里夫蘭交響樂團的聖誕節系列節目表裡。
一個12月的驚喜，讓我微笑好久，一份記憶，讓我的生活多了一個美好。

聽古典音樂是其中一個我很喜歡的方式去讓我釋放壓力，尤其克里夫蘭交響樂團不僅是全美第五的樂團，也是世界級的樂團，很幸運自己就在這個城市，不用坐飛機或開好幾小時的車就能聽到這麼高水準的音樂。

🇬🇧倫敦Part 2
我發現倫敦很多東西都是紅色，是很好看的那種紅。從公共設施，電話亭，巴士，地鐵，地鐵標示到衛兵，隨處可見這種優雅的英式紅。讓整個城市更添一份繽紛。
我們住的地方離大笨鐘，國事議會廳走路只要10分鐘，每天都會經過這些地方去搭地鐵。真幸福🥰當然倫敦橋，倫敦眼也是遊客必打卡景點，遊河（泰晤士河）從不同角度看這些景點，又是不同的美和感覺。

大英博物館雖然不比紐約的大都會博物館來的大和壯觀，但展品卻也非常的精彩。摩艾石像一入館內就看的到，是當時英國皇家海軍從拉帕努伊島帶回來的。埃及木乃伊展區是我最想看的一個展，也只有時間看這一個。從木乃伊是如何製造到X 光和CT 掃描分析這具木乃伊生前的健康狀況，再到棺木、陪葬品等等。也是從這次看展，我才知道原來動物也會被做成木乃伊，包括貓、狗、牛等等。

倫敦大火紀念碑是路過發現的景點，後來googled 才知道是為了紀念16世紀一場從麵包店蔓延出來的大火，燒毀了一萬多棟建築物。

碎片大廈上再俯瞰一次泰晤士河，倫敦橋、倫敦市政廳，及倫敦的市景。

利德賀市場是哈利波特斜角巷取景處。他的玻璃天花板，彩繪的鐵柱，還有下班聚集在酒吧前喝酒的gentleman 們是非常讓人佇足啊😂

在倫敦一定要吃炸魚薯條和Flat Iron Steakhouse。牛排店是倫敦很受歡迎的平價牛排，雖然價位不高，但品質很不錯，還會附爆米花，臨走前用店家給你的迷你斧頭去換一根冰淇淋，冰淇淋會撒巧克力粉，很好吃😋

因為自己很愛福爾摩斯，感謝我同學在我們坐地鐵時門打開那一瞬間，拍下了baker street with 福爾摩斯的影相🥰🥰🥰。

然後，跟風在倫敦大橋上，大笨鐘和國會廳前拍了一張以自己為頭條新聞的仿舊報紙，臨走之前還幫拍照的英國小哥哥拉了一組客人來拍，小哥哥笑的合不攏嘴的跟我說 thank you 😂.

網球日記
花了好幾堂課在調整擊球的距離和時間，卻總是抓不準。因為害怕打不到球，常常心急著要追，結果不是太早擊球，就是離球太近。教練提醒我：打網球不能「太好心」去追球，而是要看清楚球落點，再去迎球。同時也不能心急，否則很容易被球擠到。聽起來只是兩個簡單的動作，我卻花了好久還是無法完全掌握 timing 和距離，內心難免沮喪。
不過今天終於似乎 get 到了那個感覺。timing 真的是關鍵，球太高或太低時打出去，不是飛天就是像在打高爾夫球。身體與球的距離也很重要：太近會讓手臂被擠壓，無法發力；太遠去擊球，方向就不對，球也變得很弱。
今天有了突破，只有少數幾顆還像是在打高爾夫球 😁
Tennis diary
Spent several lessons just trying to figure out the timing and distance.
I used to rush and chase the ball, swinging too early or getting jammed.
Coach reminded me that don’t chase the ball, wait and meet it where it lands.
Today I finally got that feeling!
Timing really is everything—too high or too low and the ball flies like I’m playing golf 😂
At least there were only a few “golf shots” left today 😁

倫敦part 1
從倫敦回來一陣子，但還是念念不忘倫敦那種特有的英式氣息和優雅。倫敦給我整體的印象就是安靜，乾淨，整齊，就連老舊的地下鐵也維持得很整潔。英國人講話特有的英國腔整個把我迷得不要不要的。我都會很把握機會找英國人問路和問問題😂😂
1. Notting hill ：新娘百分百中休葛蘭的藍色書店所在地，這裡有可愛的彩色小屋，Portobello Road 市集，聚集藝術及音樂氣息。我們還去了網紅早餐店，一整個像在電影裡的女主角。
2. Frameless Immersive Art： Frameless 沈浸展四個主題館，其中有莫內的睡蓮，梵谷的星空畫，康定司基的作品，整個是用360度的動畫和音樂來呈現畫作，顛覆傳統看展的體驗。
3. 聖詹姆斯公園&白金漢宮：起了個大早去卡位，結果不知道什麼原因居然取！消！真的是等了個寂寞。走到聖詹姆士公園的餐廳要去怒吃早午餐，路上看到一個動物叫鵜鶘，長的好可愛，這裡的白鵝也白白胖胖的，英國連鵝都可以這麼優雅。走在公園內的橋上，還意外看到倫敦眼。what a surprise!
4. 溫莎城堡：全世界最老但還在使用的皇室城堡。伊莉莎白二世女王的最愛住所之一，也是國家重大儀式的舉辦地。裡面有聖喬治禮拜堂，哈利王子與梅根的婚禮就在這裡舉行，伊麗莎白女王二世也是埋葬在這個教堂裡。國事廳裡面有豪華的皇室宴會廳與藝術收藏。瑪麗皇后娃娃屋，不只是玩具，也是英國精緻生活的縮影，娃娃屋裡面的細節非常細緻，有電燈，書籍，銀器，瓷器等等。很難想像在19世紀，工匠們能有這麼頂尖的設計。
5. 攝政街：倫敦最著名的購物街之一，街道是弧形的設計，建築物是以白色牆面為主，聖誕節前夕，會有聖誕燈的佈置。
PS 我在英國學到的事：
Lift 是電梯，不是舉重。
chips 是薯條不是洋芋片。
