A SNEAK PEEK OF US.

✺ We are a Bali-based interior architecture studio creating spaces that tell stories. Guided by texture, light, and a deep sense of place. Our designs blend modern craft with island soul with every detail beginning with intention and ending with feeling. taken in Bali, Indonesia by @we.are.arke

BTS of life at ARKĒ.

✺ Mornings usually start with material trays spread across the table, feeling the weight of stone and the warmth of wood, matching textures to the story a space needs to tell. Emails and drawings follow, grounding the vision in details that actually work. Afternoons shift into SketchUp models, site visits, reviewing samples, small design debates, and those moments where one small adjustment suddenly brings the whole room together. It is slow, intentional, and rooted in creating spaces that make people feel something. taken in Bali The Island of Gods by @we.are.arke

THE ART OF GRAIN.

No two grains are ever the same. Each line, curve and variation tells a different story of time and growth. A materials that brings its own character, texture and quiet individuality to every space. taken in Bali The Island of Gods by @we.are.arke

You can copy the look, but you can’t copy the feeling.

A little thought on why the spaces we love most can’t simply be recreated from a Pinterest board. Good design is about responding to the space, the surroundings and the people using it.

GRATEFUL.

It’s been a big year at ARKE. New projects, new faces, growing clients and lots happening behind the scenes.

We’re so grateful for our incredible team and everything we’ve created together this year. Now it’s all about looking ahead to 2027 and watching the projects we’ve been working on finally come to life.

We can’t wait to show you what’s next.

JIA CURATED.
Five days. One beach in Sanur. Pavilions built from rice husk, salt brick, and reclaimed teak.

Jia Curated 2026 wasn’t just beautiful, it was a preview of something bigger: what an Indonesian design language looks like when it stops borrowing and starts building with what this island already has.

FROM A ROOM TO A FEELING.

A room can have four walls, but a home has a feeling.
It is in the materials, the light, the details and the way everything comes together. This is why interior design matters. taken in Bali The Island of Gods by @we.are.arke

WHY SITE VISITS ARE ESSENTIAL TO GOOD DESIGN.

Every project evolves once construction begins. Being on site allows us to review details, coordinate with builders and consultants, solve challenges as they arise, and ensure the design vision is carried through with precision.

It’s a reminder that good design isn’t only created in the studio. It’s shaped through observation, collaboration, and refinement, every step of the way.

VIEW FRAMING.

View framing is the quiet art of deciding what you see and what you don’t. Architecture isn’t only about building spaces. It is about composing moments. taken in Bali The Island of Gods by @we.are.arke

BEHIND THE BUILD.

The most rewarding part of the process is seeing an idea leave the page and become a place. Concept to reality.
