Honor thy fetish

KINK: A Manifesto

KINK is governed by the fetish.
A devotion to sound in its most original form. A fetish for the original current, electric signal included, for records able to speak to the body without insulting the mind. A sound with lineage, hostile to cheap gestures, borrowed cool, and the look of culture without the knowledge behind it.

KINK moves through one current, where house, electro, and indie answer to Rita and Romax’s taste, instinct, and nerve required to keep the voltage honest.

The aesthetic is part of the same doctrine. KINK looks the way it sounds. Dark, electric, severe, unmistakably its own. The thunderbolt gave that language its axis. Then came the replicas, as replicas do, clean enough to resemble and thin enough to betray themselves. A copied bolt can point upward. It cannot summon the storm, least of all from a Canva sky.

The original current.
The one true mark.
The sacred fetish.

Tonight, follow the elder thunderbolt to the floor at @inreunion and remember to always honor thy fetish.
