Meet Jean de Falbaire, owner and founder of @we_glide :

Jean is a passionate kite surfer and has practised this sport since the age of 8 years old. He grew up on the beach of Pointe d’Esny in Mauritius. Jean has a deep passion for the ocean and everything it has to offer.

Kitesurfing has been all his life and he just recently took part at the Olympic Games of Paris 2024 representing Mauritius in kite foiling.

He is very excited about his new project and cannot wait to share his knowledge with you on the water !

Je te présente le spot de pointe d’Esny.
Pas super facile d’accès : il faut repérer les accès à la plage, se garer le long de la route et porter son matos sur 200-300m.
Mais passé ce petit désagrément, quel pied !!
Un plan d’eau, peu profond à l’eau turquoise, un vent régulier, Side ou on-hore, bref, un spot facile, sécure accessible à tous niveaux de pratique. Et on navigue avec pour décor l’île aux aigrettes, l’île au phare et la montagne du Lion.
On peut d’ailleurs prendre des cours de Wingfoil ou de kite avec l’école @we_glide !
Quant au logement, on peut trouver des guest-houses ou loger à l’hôtel preskil (@preskilislandresort ), un super hôtel familial qui donne sur le lagon.
