Hyrox has finally landed in Finland and will kick off tomorrow in Helsinki at the Messukeskus Expo and Convention Center. Finland is famous for its sauna culture with origins of the first primitive saunas dating back to 2000 years ago. The perfect post race recovery after an adrenaline fueled Finnish Hyrox can be found within a striking architectural landmark on the Helsinki waterfront.

Löyly offers the traditional wood-burning sauna experience to soothe aching muscles, complete with panoramic views overlooking the Gulf of Finland. Competitors can cool off on the terrace before taking a plunge into the Baltic Sea.

Afterwards, you can enjoy seasonal Nordic cuisine in their restaurant accompanied with stunning sea views in a fireplace warming atmosphere.

Location: Hernesaarenranta 4, 00150 Helsinki, Finland.

The price of a two hour sauna session is €27.00. This includes a towel, a sheet, shampoo and shower gel.

Hyrox has arrived in Lisbon for the very first time! Debuting in the vibrant Parque das Nações district at the Feira Internacional de Lisboa (FIL), it is set along the Tagus river which offers up an ideal warm-up route pre-race.

Directions: Exit the main entrance of FIL and take a left towards the river.

Once you reach the promenade take another left, follow the river to your right and run towards the Torre Vasco de Gama seen in the 4th post.

Run around the Torre and continue on the promenade where you will see Vasco de Gama Bridge in the distance.

Here you have 2 points of reference for a turnaround. There are two observation decks jutting out into the river.

The first is Miradouro do Arboreto which is 1.4k from the entrance of FIL. (6th post)

And the second is, Miradouro da Ponte Vasco da Gama which is 1.7km from the entrance of FIL. (7th post)

Note: It is best not to veer right from FIL toward Central Lisbon as you avoid cobblestone streets inland and hills.

The above advised route is flat, wide, uninterrupted and offers some pretty awesome scenic pre-race views.

From Cardiff Airport, you can take a bus to Rhoose Cardiff International Airport train station. Then, you can catch a train to CARDIFF Central Station, which is right next to the Principality Stadium at a short walk of less than 10mins.

Hyrox CARDIFF marks the last race of the UK Hyrox season.

Fantastic racing last night in Poland 💪🏻✨ Warsaw erupted in celebration yesterday evening as Joanna Wietrzyk 🇦🇺 took 1st place in the final Elite 15 Major race of the season in PGE Narodowy Stadium. In doing so, she set a new world record of 00.54.25 beating her own 2025 world record of 00.56.03 at the Phoenix Major in January.

Alyssa McElheny 🇺🇸, Emilie Dahmen 🇳🇱 and Stefanie Oswald 🇩🇪 took the last 3 coveted world championships spots securing their place on the start line in Sweden later this year.

Well done to all the Elite 15 Women, you are an inspiration and we look forward to cheering you on in Stockholm!

HYROX Rotterdam Race Map and Travel Details :

The iconic Rotterdam Ahoy is set host this year's much anticipated Hyrox event from the 15th to 19th April. With over 12,000 athletes competing in 2025, here is some travel information and tips to help you on your way!

Venue:
Rotterdam Ahoy
Ahoyweg 10, 3084 BA Rotterdam, Netherlands

How to get there:
Airport: Rotterdam-The Hague Airport (RTM) is 8 km away. If flying to Amsterdam (AMS), the fast train "Intercity Direct" will get you to Rotterdam Central in about 25 minutes.

By public transport:
The best option. The metro (lines D and E) stop at the Zuidplein, which is only a few minutes' walk from Ahoy.

Parking: The venue has over 2,500 spaces. Book your "parking guarantee" online in advance, as it fills up quickly on event days.

Categories:
Individual (Open/Pro), Doubles (Men/Women/Mixed), and relays (Relays).

Storage:
Cloakroom service and lockers available to keep your belongings secure while you compete.

Heads up!:
Rotterdam Ahoy is largely "cashless." Make sure to bring your debit or credit card for food and merchandise.

Hot food, sandwiches and coffee are available inside.

Performing 100 wall balls unbroken (without dropping the bal or resting it on the lap) is a major test of endurance and mental fortitude, often recognized as the "Red Bull 100 Challenge" at the end of a HYROX race. Earning the Red Bull 100 finisher patch is considered a badge of honor for athletes.

Doing 100 reps unbroken at the end of a race means doing them while completely fatigued, often called the "final test of composure".

It requires 100 consecutive reps, 10ft (men) or 9ft (women) high, without rest, in a highly lactic state.

It shows immense discipline and mental fortitude to continue when the legs and shoulders are burning.

When HYROX launched for the first time in India last year, Sikandar Chindhu Tadakhe was ready. In September, 2025, he made history at HYROX, Mumbai by breaking the first ever sub 60 time in the MENS Open at 59m 14secs.

Reigning from Nashik, Maharashtra, he participated in local wrestling matches but found few opportunities to develop his skills. He found his way into fitness training and committed to an initial 3 month programme which inspired him to start competing in marathons. In September 2025 at the NESCO Centre, Mumbai, Sikandar was the only Indian participant to clock under an hour and took his rightful place on the podium in first place 💪🏻✨

You rock Sikandar! Good luck this year and good luck to all of you competing in Hyrox Bengaluru this weekend!
