...These two are always excited to go check out projects I've worked on. It's quite sweet. 💛💛 That's probably an understatement. ---And after being friends for like 20+ years, me and Ang (L) found out we're probably basically cousins from some deep Marlin, Texas history! We just never know how or why we link to certain people, but someone does! Anywho, we checked out Feeding Beatrice as a group last night. ( day is tomorrow btw) Nice to watch the show and be past the part where you're having to check for wardrobe malfunctions or things you need to tweek. It was Friday fun-night and photo rituals with these two . ...A fun day!💫💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾. by @we_must_grow

Greetings from "HighGawden". Shout out to the spirit of EFFORT and all things and beings working to keep going and make things happen. --Even if that's just getting outta bed. My garden is still trying. I'm doing my best to support it. Nneka's trying to make a new zucchini! I'm just asking for fresh collards til mid November. We shall see! 💚🌿👩🏾‍🌾 by @we_must_grow

....And They Lived Happily Ever After 🤭: Omg look at herrrr. She lives in the car now, my little co-pilot. I'm certain I have this same coat, we both wear glasses aaand we both carry the light😉! I keep callin her a muskrat. The man at the checkout said he thinks she's a Leimer. --Leimer, muskrat, PRECIOUS is what she is! The end. by @we_must_grow

Part2 in our favorite store: The "World O' Market" Honorable Mentions 🤷🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️ by @we_must_grow

Another day we fight temptation in the "World O' Markets" . But I did good! And kept it practical. Amen. --This video took too long and I had to reclaim my time. I had to cut some whimsical finds, but perhaps I can share the honorable mentions. by @we_must_grow

...I'm not a wig stylist, I just play one on tv🤭. I do like to cut hair though. But it comes together when I need to make it werrrk! A wig wash n' re-styling had to happen for our "June Wig" this week cause you know, build up and everything. Have you gotten to check out this show yet?? Must say, quite good. --Not saying that because I worked on it. We're going back on the 30th if you wanna get your tickets for that night!! We can have a party section!! The more in the crowd, the merrier. This show has very "interactive energy." For tickets, visit Aurorafox.com @the_aurora_fox #FeedingBeatrice #denvertheater ##costumedesigner by @we_must_grow

...The other night actor Tim Reid spoke at @cleodance . - EXCELLENT!! He framed his talk around the power of #dreams. -- How he felt being a dreamer had helped manifest so much in and of his career, but that in these times, people don't seem to dream as much anymore. Nobody asked me, but I agree 200%!! I couldn't begin to give a proper recap, but it was rrrich. He dropped some gems about WKRP & Franks Place, enough to make me start down the Franks Place rabbit hole. His upbringing was also very "Lackawnna Blues" and I'm fascinated by this. --Have you seen that movie? SUPERB and based on the true story of another actor. Anywho, I could go on. But had to put his wife #DaphneMaxwellReid in these pics too though she wasn't there because she's a big time sewer and as a kid her patterns would be in Joanns. IMPORTANT! (That's #Timreidsgrandma behind him)❤️

📷Shout out to my gurl @roadtriplearning for rolling with me on the fly. Have to snap selfies to commemorate being outside, lol. by @we_must_grow

...Cornbread is really important. It's a bit of a staple. Like, if cornbread isn't PRESENT in a soul food/ southern cuisine spread, the legitimacy of all else could be in question! ...It's so versatile. It can be savory or sweet. ...Cakey or crumbly. It's often the last thing on the plate used to sop up all the flavors of everything else featured in the meal. It brings everything together at the end of your dining experience. That's important. People reflect on cornbread with fondness and longing in a meal, lol. It's old reliable: It better be there even if it barely gets eaten. --Back in the day when I taught school, one of my students said, "Miss, you know you can tell who eats cornbread or not?" I'll spare you his dissertation, but it was hilarious to me that he even had one. Anyway, this post is getting too long but the moral of the story is, "Why yes! I think I would like to be thought of as CORNBREAD", lol. So yeah. Pretend I'm, Cornbread. 😁😉 #cornbread by @we_must_grow

...i promise I'm not a voyeur. --That is unless I'm at the stop light and see a lady with a DAZZLING MAGIC DRESS ON and a happy lil baby. Yeah, I'm probably gonna stare a little bit. The sun activated her dress so major, I was mesmerized like a little kid. It was such a joy to watch, I was sad when the light turned green. I don't generally record strangers, but the dress made me do it. Someone find me some sparkles like THIS. 🤷🏾‍♀️ 😬🙏🏾🥹💖💖💖 #sparkles #magicdresses by @we_must_grow

...Got to see, hear, meet #BlackForager (Alexis Nikole Nelson) today at her book signing downtown. Delightful. Smart, genuine, gracious lady. Great talk, full house and they included her beautiful hardback book (Happy Snacking Don't Die) with the cost of the ticket and its gorgeous. Great photos, much information, and many recipes. Looking forward to delving into this one. This evening she announced that her book is now officially a NYT Best seller and offered congrats to her child self. Very special. Another reminder of the importance of staying the course and remaining committed to your interests and work. 🙏🏾💚🙌🏾Love those stories. 🌿🌿🌿🐝🐝🐝 by @we_must_grow
