The Lions AFLW is like no other and we want to see as many ladies as possible getting behind the team this season.

So, we’ve teamed up with the @lionsaflw and @eleynabenzenati to bring you our very own:
FOR THE GIRLS, BY THE GIRLS ROUND

WHO: Ladies!! Whether it’s your first AFLW game, your first live sports game or you’re already a die-hard Lions girly, this is the one you want to get around.

WHERE: We’ll have buses taking you from New Farm Park to Brighton Homes Arena, with return drop-off back at New Farm Park.

WHEN: Saturday 17 October, 12:30pm–6:30pm

WHY: SUPPORT THE CHICKS!!

WHAT: $55pp + BF! Swipe for the full itinerary of the day as well as (but not limited to) merch, singing, cheering, wine and cheeeeeseboards 👀

Did someone say Ceviche Nachos 🙈🙈

No, but we did! And you will too very soon!!

We are so so excited to announce We Are WMN x @labodegabrisbane Ceviche Nachos coming righttttt up!!!

These will be available on the menu from tomorrow, 7th of October, right through to the end of October!

So for a veryyyy limited time!

This lovely lil dish is snapper cured in fresh lime topped with mango, avocado salsa, pico de gallo, tamarind and habanero salsa served on CRISPPYYYY tortilla chips.

Trust us when we say YUMMYYY!!

What started as a fave sissy dish, has now been recreated and served up at our fave venue in Brisbane !!

Of course it wouldn’t be a WMN collab without an event to celebrate, so mark 22nd of October in your calendar, more details coming soon! 💖 by @weare.wmn

What if one of the strongest predictors of health has nothing to do with willpower but whether we have our people?

Which raises an awkward question: when did you last make a new friend and sisso?

@taylerkerta, @millerkertaa and @siennakerta noticed that for a lot of women in Brisbane, the honest answer was “I can’t remember.” So the three sisters started a book club @bne.chapters. Then hundreds of women started showing up every month. Then came @weare.wmn: bathhouse nights, breathwork, trivia, a formal ball, and thousands of women who found each other along the way.

They’ve now watched more women walk into a room full of strangers than almost anyone we know. So we asked them what actually happens next.

What tha helly belly who is Shelly ?!!

Last week we had the opportunity to chat all things CONTENT for @patchagency ‘s Open Tabs panel!

Our community knows us as us. We show up on socials exactly how we show up at events - chaotic & fun at it’s finest. The most consistent topic we chatted about throughout the evening was that authenticity always wins, especially in the event industry.

I know attending events solo is really scary and we try minimise that feeling by showing up online real and raw (maybe sometimes a tad too real and raw…). We do this so our girls get a sense of who we are and feel like they know us before they have even walked through the door.” - Sienna

Actually SOBBING watching this video 😭😭

Our darling @sharkistudios had the idea to leave a lil notepad for the girls to write a note to their younger selves. Let’s just say… the execution was way beyond anything we ever could have imagined.

Life is hard. It takes us on the biggest roller coaster of adventures, emotions, highs, lows and experiences, and sometimes all we can do is buckle up and ride the wave.

We’re SO grateful to have this little piece of magic from the ball. A snapshot of all the beautiful women who came together, celebrated each other and got to pause for a moment and reflect on how far they’ve come.
