We were tasked to build hype and deliver authentic content for the Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Weapon sneaker drop for Converse.

To tap into Toronto’s vibrant subcultures, we teamed up with three standout artists— a dancer, photographer, and singer— each deeply embedded in their communities. The content not only reflected their personal styles but also resonated with their unique audiences.

To take it further, we seeded 30 influencers from across the Lab to amplify the message, letting them create content around the Weapon in their own distinct way.

The result? A wave of high-quality, authentic content that connected across diverse audiences, celebrating both Shai’s creative and athletic side while capturing the energy of Toronto’s subcultures.

For the Converse Weapon Launch campaign, we teamed up with Les Squeak (@lessqueak) to bring a disruptive activation to life in Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver.

Les Squeak crafted a striking 3D Converse Weapon, while we led the community rollout strategy— leveraging deep cultural knowledge and selecting key influencers to maximize impact.

In Browns’ 2023 Fall campaign for Converse, Midnight spotlights the beauty of diversity, showing how our individual journeys are united by a common thread: the Converse Elevation Collection.

From a seasoned artist making a living through his craft, to a new mom embracing the demands of motherhood, Midnight weaves a narrative where every walk of life meets on common ground. By celebrating the nuances that make us unique, the campaign underscores Converse as the canvas for self-expression and shared experience.

In March we brought out the Shoot-Around, reigniting an event the Toronto creative community had been missing.

This time, we invited photographers and videographers into an open space with abstract, sci-fi projections setting the scene. Three professional models rotated through these immersive setups, giving the community endless opportunities to create striking visuals.

The vibe was elevated with Sound Legends Co. on the music, drinks sponsored by Daydream, and doughnuts from Cops. It was a long-awaited return to form, blending creativity, connection, and undeniable energy.

Join us for a night of creative exploration, immersive projections and good vibes. A space set up for photographers and videographers, whether you’re emerging or a seasoned pro, to push your boundaries, challenge yourself creatively, and work with models styled against uniquely projected scenes designed by @studio_am_ and Midnight Lab. As you explore the space, you'll also have the chance to have your portrait taken by one of our in-house photographers and network with other talented individuals in the industry. Pull up, put some miles on your camera, discuss your passions, and learn from one another.
