POSTS STORIES REELS

In an ideal 🌏, artists would have the same type of support that many other fields do. To make that a reality, Artery works closely with our artists-in-programme to identify meaningful forms of support from artistic and professional development to resources such as studio spaces and grants, which will best empower and equip them to build thriving, sustainable practices.

Yes, we're a young organisation with a lot of work ahead of us! Keep checking back to learn more about how we do what we do!

Art plays such an integral part of our everyday lives and society. The brainchild of our Board Chairperson, Mr. Danny Yong, and CEO, Belinda Ang — Artery is supported by a power trio Board with extensive experience in creating social impact, championing artistic integrity, and keeping the team accountable.

Built on the expertise of the well-loved art thinker-tinkerer, Joyce Toh, our team is fueled and excited to work with artists in shaping the narrative of our collective identity through art! What stories will they tell? Curious curious? Stay with us on this journey to find out!

We had a blast! Thank you to old and new friends who dropped by Artery’s Artist Studio Open House in romantic Sembawang two weeks ago. ❤️

We were very excited to finally share what we’ve been building over the past year, and to introduce the developing practices of our AAA Artists Cohort 01, whom we are incredibly proud of.

At the Open House, we also announced for the first time details of the Open Call for the Artery Artist Accelerator Programme.

More information on the Open Call will be shared right here on 6 October. Stay tuned!

Thank you to our patrons, partners and friends for making time on a weekday evening to visit our new Artist Studio @ Admirax, Sembawang. @kaitkkt @rofiartdesign @hongerootooties @elynnjo and @shaynephua dressed their working studio with past and new works to greet our guests for the first time. This 4,000sqft space in north Singapore, is graciously gifted to Artery for 2 years by Admirax Building in space scarce Singapore to support our artists in giving a breathing space for art continuity.

“We are proud to sponsor Artery and support its contribution to Singapore's arts scene. By bringing art into Admirax and making it part of an everyday working environment, we hope to give artists greater certainty and room to develop their work, and create more opportunities for people to encounter and appreciate local artistic expression beyond traditional cultural spaces,” said Brenda Sim, ADM Prize SG (Singapore). “This collaboration also reflects our broader vision for Admirax, not simply as a place of business, but as a welcoming and engaging destination that connects creativity, industry and the wider community."

The evening would not have been perfect without the beautifully curated wines generously sponsored by @wineadore, thank you to Luiz who is an avid supporter of the arts.

The evening was jazzed up by tunes spun by @itch_sg, complete with a variety of canapes and a grazing table from @lushplatters.

Curious to see what our studio looks like in person? Come drop by our Open House on 12 Sept, between 2-6pm!

I took these photos with secondhand Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX520, 2008 Camera. I think it helps to document the showcase better than my phone! What do you think? But you have to first come over to see before you answer. 😆

I am temporary displaying these for the open house! Happy to have space to arrange furnitures/things again! 😄 After that they’ll be packed closely together in one of the rooms, you won’t see them like this on any other days. (Also featured in the showcase is @samuelxun work, I acquired in Art Week 2023 after I sold my works at the same event with Samuel!)

Come check out the many rooms at the Studio. Exciting Artworks by fellow Artists 👇
