Iranian producer Hamoon Nassaji has spent the past decade developing an electronic sound rooted in experimentation, detailed sound design and an open-ended approach to genre. Drawing from the foundations of Detroit techno and classic house, Hamoon takes familiar elements — machine-driven grooves, hypnotic rhythms and melodic futurism — and refracts them through a contemporary perspective. Rather than reproducing those influences as nostalgia, he transforms them into something post-modern and timeless, balancing references to electronic music’s past with a distinctly personal vision of its future. With releases across Sum Over Histories, Surrrealism, Nightcolours, Eastern Standard and Moodmusic, Hamoon continues to build a catalogue that moves freely between deep, melodic and more exploratory forms, always guided by curiosity rather than convention. taken in Teheran, Iran by @weareeasternstandard

88Dubs is back on Eastern Standard. The Hungarian producer returns with another piece of outstanding underground music — intuitive, genre-free and made for intimate dancefloors. Since 2010, 88Dubs has released on Traum, Secret Fusion, Moodmusic and Urge To Dance, with support from artists including Trikk, Fideles, Echonomist and Undercatt. We love discovering and presenting artists with something genuinely special. taken in Berlin, Germany by @weareeasternstandard

The greatest honor as a music producer is hearing your track being played by a friend. In between my crazy ER shifts, I had the opportunity to catch @nhiimusic set at @chetanaworld where he ended his set with my track ‘To Find You’. Being there side-by-side with Chris reminded me why I make music and why I have dedicated my life to mastering my craft. Music has saved my life countless times, and composing this track helped me physically and mentally recover from a devastating medical emergency where I cheated death last year. Many of my friends and family have asked me the inspiration behind the lyrics to this track so I decided to share… swipe to read more ❤️❤️ Much love, Taylor ‘To Find You’ out on @weareeasternstandard now! 📹: @saqib_music taken in Brooklyn, New York by @weareeasternstandard

Younger generations are redefining the music landscape by fusing digital-first production with nostalgic revivals. They increasingly shape the cultural scene with hard-hitting electronic music, experimental pop, and an appreciation for older eras uncovered via short-form video algorithms. taken in Berlin, Germany by @weareeasternstandard

🌞 Sunburst VA is out today on @weareeasternstandard ! I was honored to contribute my tracks ‘To Find You’ and ‘Stay High’ with @jepe_musica to this album of amazing artists. 🎤 These two tracks feature my own voice and lyrics and both songs have deep personal meaning to me as they represent a lot of my lived experiences over the past few years. 💿 Thank you once again to Jepe, @klashenriklindblad , @moodmusicrecords , @sisusounds for allowing me to share my music with the world. It means everything to me and I hope you all enjoy as much I had recording and mixing these tracks! ❤️❤️ 🫂 Early support from: Adam Port, Adriatique, Eleke Klein, Elif, Joyce Muniz, Luke Garcia, Nhii, Robbie Akbal, Sabo, and many more! 🔊 Mastering: @blackheadstudios 🔗 Links in bio/story! taken in Berlin, Germany by @weareeasternstandard
