📣 Important Updates! + Our next special guest 💫

As shared previously, we have moved to a beautiful new venue, The Goan Community Centre. With that comes two exciting updates…

🎉 We will be dancing on Fridays

🎉 We will be dancing TWICE a month

We are thrilled for the changes as we hope it makes it more accesible & gives you more of an opportunity to deepen your dance practice with us. Plus it means we can bring in more awesome DJ’s and musicians!

Next Dance: Nov 6th with Jez Ramesh

Jez Ramesh is an electronic musician and live performer creating music for the inner journey. Weaving original compositions with improvisation in the moment, his sets hold beauty and shadow side by side: melodic, cinematic and deeply felt, from raw industrial rhythms to ethereal soundscapes. A dance through the full spectrum of human experience, from the depths within to somewhere beyond.

On the night, Jez will be performing live with synths, drum machines and vocal loops, reshaping his own songs in conversation with the dancefloor. Drawing on electronic and alternative music and film soundtracks, the set moves through deep grooves, driving riffs and vast drones. A ritual journey, made live.

This is going to be a dance experience unlike any we’ve had before. Tickets available now via the link in bio 🔗

See you on the floor 💜

Cacao 🌿

We always start our dances with a meditation & cacao circle.

Through meditation, we slow down. We breathe consciously and become a little more present with our body - all of this helps to prepare for the dance.

And cacao? She is our sweet companion. The ritual of closing down the eyes, drinking slowly, maybe setting an intention, being aware of our senses as we drink… it helps us to be present. She can’t be rushed.

Cacao is not necessary to dance of course. And we offer tea to those who are not drinking it, so everyone is part of the circle.

But it can help to ground us in our bodies, and it’s also delicious. We are proud to source our cacao directly from trusted growers and friends in the Sierra Nevada, Colombia @chocolatetagbi 💚

Cacao or tea is included in the all tickets. Choose to dance with it, or without, it’s all perfect.

We hope to see you on the dance floor soon 💜

Had the best time opening for @50sos05 on Saturday 💃

It was my first time playing in this kind of setting and I was nervous but it’s all about baby steps.

And anyway, the most important thing is the music and the joy we get from it - what a wonderful world to be apart of 🎶

Can’t wait for the next one 💥

Woop woop our September dance tickets are out! 🎉

Super excited to welcome the awesome Dan from @ritual_rythms_ecstatic_dance. He will be both facilitating and DJing so we are in for a real treat.

Dan has been part of the sober dance scene since the mid ’90s, when dancing without stimulants helped him move through anxiety and find calm in his body.

Since then, he’s taught movement, breathwork and meditation to thousands, while working on large-scale festival installations and pyrotechnics from Arcadia to Glastonbury.

Last year, he brought these worlds together, facilitating Ecstatic Dances and live sound journeys at Glastonbury. He also hosts Ritual Rhythms, a podcast connecting the Ecstatic Dance community.

His sets reflect his history: tribal, global, celebrational & always with a heart-pounding bass!

This one is going to be FUN! Don’t miss it, link in bio for tickets 😉
