We’re Catholic musicians with a heart for joy and community. Support our first Catholic worship EP!! 👇🏻

POSTS STORIES REELS

Hey there! We’re Jesse and Kathleen, Catholic musicians from Ontario, Canada.

Music has been a huge spark in our relationship, truly since the day we met. Looking back, we know that’s no coincidence. Ever since we met up in a university music room for the first time, God has continued to invite us to use the gift of music to bring others closer to Him through joy, beauty, and truth, and community.

Right now, we feel Him calling us into a new chapter: to write and record music specifically for Catholics, both for liturgical prayer and personal prayer.

We are truly in the infant stages of this chapter, as we discern what this will look like and sound like. But we know that if these songs are going to see the light of day, we need you to link arms with us.

A few years ago, we released our first self-titled, crowdfunded EP, complete with love songs that we hope draw the heart from human love to divine love.

Last year, we released our first original worship song, Permission, for the upcoming documentary of the same title.

Your support and excitement about each of these projects was SO encouraging, and could not have happened without you.

And now, we’re feeling the call to create music again.

We continue to see a great need in Christian communities (especially in Canada), for Catholics to share the beauty of God through the gift of music. We feel Him asking us to use our gifts to respond to this need.

✨ Over the next year, we plan to write and record our first-ever Catholic worship EP! ✨

But we sincerely cannot even think about making this happen without your support.

Writing, recording, and releasing an album is no easy task, and if we’re being honest, requires a big financial investment that we just don’t have.

Will you join this mission to bring more Catholic worship music into the world?

At the link in our bio, you’ll find our support page with many options to contribute to this mission (with fun perks as well!)

Please keep us in your prayers, so that we are truly open to where the Spirit is leading. And please share this post to help us spread the word.

Let’s do this!!

“Do not fear, only believe.”

These were Jesus’ words to the leader of the synagogue who was pleading with Jesus to heal his daughter. People scolded him for bothering Jesus, since the daughter was “already dead”. But Jesus looked at him and said “Do not fear, only believe.”

It’s never too late for God to heal. You haven’t missed the window, you haven’t been left behind. No situation is too far gone or too complicated for his loving, powerful hands. He sees you, and wants to heal you.

Do you believe?

There is truly a spiritual battle going on for our families as Satan tries to destroy one of the most visible bearers of God’s love in the world: marriages and families. It’s our job as parents to be equipping ourselves and our kids with the armour of God so that we can remain on the winning side of this battle. From the sacraments, to Scripture, to sacramentals, to the powerful prayers of the Church, we have so much available to help us keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, and help our children learn to do the same thing.

Your role as parents in praying protection over your kids is more powerful than you realize. Make prayer a regular part of your life together as a family. The more visual (especially for our kids!), the better!!

PS We just received this St. Benedict candle from @saintbyiradewitt and it is incredible. Made with holy oil, smells absolutely heavenly, and even has a Benedictine coin inside 🤯 They have candles for so many devotions, its amazing! Use our code FOUNDTOGETHER for 20% off! 😍

St. Benedict, patron of peace and protection from evil, pray for us! 🙏🏻

Become a Star Supporter and we’ll send you the Yurt Session recording of Here I Am Lord. This hymn has such a powerful refrain that we’ve used over the years during worship events, inviting hearts to surrender to the Lord’s call. We can’t wait to make this song into our own and record it for our upcoming Catholic Worship EP! For now, we’re sending our Star Supporters the seed idea for reworking this hymn, including a new bridge we’ve written! 🥲 We can’t wait to hear what you think!!

This was such a fun way to get connected into the music scene here in Digby since moving here a few months ago! So grateful for the opportunity!! And the most special part was having our kids there cheering us on. 🥹♥️ Full video with judges comments up on YouTube! by @wearefoundtogether

First gig in Nova Scotia! 🙌🏻 Played some fun tunes after the annual outdoor Mass for Corpus Christi Parishes! And our kids didn’t even cry 😂🙌🏻 Wins all around! Feels so good to be performing again! by @wearefoundtogether

There are some beautiful gems in our dear Catholic hymn books 🥹 Anyone else swoon over this one??

Over the next few months, we’re going to huddle up in the Yurt and record some of our favourite hymns and worship songs! These will be raw and from the heart, helping us get in the zone for our Catholic Worship EP project. Each month, we’ll release one of these recordings to our monthly supporters! 🤩

We’re so excited to invite you into this mission of ours through the Yurt Sessions!!

Comment your favourite hymn or worship song you want us to cover - and we’ll send you a link to join our support team. 💪🏻

Our lives have drastically changed since we set out to complete this project (we’re currently living at Jesse’s parents house in Nova Scotia while we flip our new home) but we are still pressing forward with this invitation the Lord has put on our hearts to record truly Catholic music.

If that resonates with you, please help us make it happen!! ♥️

So what’s that song that gets you right in the heavenly feels every time!? Let us know in the comments!

Come Holy Spirit!
