Second consecutive tournament weekend. Both with brutal Southern California heat. And another trip to the championship match.

We came up one goal short in the final, but this team's resilience, effort, and growth were on full display. Proud of the way these girls competed, battled for each other, and never gave up. taken in Great Park of Irvine by @wearelasc

We played seven matches across two teams. Forty-three goals. One championship.

This weekend was about much more than the final result. Every player embraced the challenge of beach soccer, competed with energy, supported one another, and strengthened bonds with their teammates throughout the day. After a hard-fought championship match that came down to penalty kicks, they found a way to finish on top!

Proud of the resilience, teamwork, and competitive spirit these girls showed from the first game to the final kick. Certainly a weekend to remember! #copacabanabeachsoccer #girlssoccer taken in Belmont Shore, Long Beach, California by @wearelasc

Proud of our girls for earning a second place finish in their first tournament of the season! We lost our keeper to an injury in the semifinal, but had one our field players step up to take on the most critical role on the field during the final. The girls left it all on the field this weekend, and we look forward to translating the energy from this tournament to the remainder of our spring season and beyond! 💪 #theclassic taken in Great Park of Irvine by @wearelasc
