What’s a pirate’s favourite festival? The Arrrrrrbour Festival...duh! After 21 years (!) of being part of @bristolharbourfest, we can safely say that this year’s was one of the best yet 💦 We’re super proud to have helped bring it to life once more - from developing the festival brand and designing the website, to creating bespoke festival t-shirts for @asccolour, collaborating with @cityofbristolcollege on the huge 11-metre Peros Bridge banner and producing creative seen right across the harbour (which this year stretched further than ever before) 🙌 So much fun to see @bbcwest and @itvwestcountry capturing the action, including brand-new attractions like @redbulluk’s Up The Mast (which was hilariousssss) and the @bristolbid x Hoteliers Association Waiters’ Race, which splashed more water than the Pyronaut. 💦 So much more to mention (shoutout @james.prestwood and @my.future.my.choice.bristol for making our live socials top notch) but otherwise just a massive shout out to @proudeventsuk @swans_events for making the magic happen once more. What a way to open the doors 🍸🙌 After spending the past month watching @distiller_pete and the team pour so much love, passion and hard work into transforming the top floor of @milkthistlebristol, it was pretty special to see the space finally filled with people. We were chuffed to help organise the launch, which was every bit as good as the refurb - award-winning gins, a packed room and a celebration of Bristol hospitality. Huge congrats to @distiller_pete , @jay_hyde_mead and everyone involved. Here’s to the new home of @thespiritofbristol and the next chapter of @milkthistlebristol❤️ by @weareplaster

SO PROUD TO SUPPORT PRIDE! ❤️🏳️‍🌈 What a weekend with @bristolpride. It was hot in all senses of the word We cheered on @ellamorganc as she led the Parade March, relived the glory days with @jdonofficial, soaked up the fabulousness of @trinitythetuck (the body, we cannot) and sang every word of We Are Family as @sistersledgeofficial closed the stage - it’s still stuck in our head! We also did some work...hosted journos and creators throughout the day, coordinated many an interview and spent most of Friday staying out of the way of tv cameras - it was another big one for the books and one we won’t forget in a hurry! A huge THANK YOU to @bristolprideofficial for trusting us and to every journalist, photographer and creator who helped shine a light on such an incredible celebration of love, community and inclusion. We’re swapping Totterdown for Trafalgar Square next week! Where has that year gone?! Joni and Emily headed to Exeter to celebrate Merac turning one, and to raise a glass to an amazing first year.🥂 Andy and the Merac team have done an incredible job restoring the platform to its former glory (and then some!). We’re so proud to have played a part in the journey and can’t wait to see what comes next. Back on site for another year of @bristolsounds, doing what we do best. Box office queens, PIT-side with the photographers and chasing those 10/10 reviews. ☀️🎸 As always, @crosstownconcerts brought the line-up. From @thekooks and @superfurryanimals to @thestreetsofficial__, @omdhq and @royelotis, it was one hell of a (VERY hot) week on Bristol’s harbourside. The only thing we collected more than media coverage? Merch. Over the past few months, we’ve been exploring the archives at @shoemakersmuseum for an ongoing Archive Deep Dive series 👞👀 And what an archive it is. Hidden away are more than 1,000 shoes, marketing campaigns, original sketches, photographs and documents that tell the story of 200+ years of @clarksshoes innovation. Our latest deep dive saw us exploring the story of the Clarks Attackers football boots, famously associated with England captain Bobby Moore. With World Cup fever in full swing, it felt like the perfect piece of history to bring back into the spotlight. Yesterday marked the launch of A Single Thread's new website 🎉 It’s been a pleasure bringing the team’s vision to life, creating a digital home that brings together @sustainablefashionweek_uk, Mend It May, Future Citizen and more, connecting the people and projects driving positive change in fashion across the UK. As part of the wider campaign, we also joined ‘Repair as Rebellion’ with @nudiejeans, @globalorganictextilestandard and host @toritsui_. Through panel talks, live mending and hands-on workshops, the evening explored the power of repairing clothes instead of replacing them. So about last night... 👀 Our Harbourside Navy Strength Gin was up against the very best at the @worlddrinksawards. For a small distillery that's only been going for 18 months, we were gassed to be standing in a room full of world-class distilleries from across the globe. The last couple years have been quite the journey... World Drinks Awards: 🏆 England’s Best Navy Strength Gin 🥇 3 x Gold (Taste) 🥈 2 x Silver (Taste) 🥉 1 x Bronze (Taste) Gin Choice Awards: 🥇1 x Gold (Taste) We'd be lying if we said we didn't want the top spot but being recognised as runner up to the world's best gin (shout out @nyfjalldestilleri - unreal!) is a massive honour.
