Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world.

Not a symbol. Not a memory. HIM under the appearance of bread, present on the altar, held out for you.

The priest says the words Christ gave him to say, and heaven bends down to a small table in a small room. This is the same Body that hung on the cross, same Blood that was poured out, given again, given now, given to you.

Lord, I am not worthy that You should enter under my roof.

But only say the word, and my soul shall be healed.

September 11, 2001, was a day that changed the lives of countless people, especially here in New York. Some lost loved ones. Many experienced unimaginable trauma. And thousands lost their lives.

For Father Vincent Druding, Parochial Vicar at Holy Cross and Head of Jesus In Zion Ministry, 9/11 became a defining moment in his own life. As a rescue worker at Ground Zero and in the weeks that followed, Father Vincent witnessed firsthand the devastation left behind and the profound impact it had on so many.

In this reflection, Father Vincent shares how those experiences changed the course of his life and ultimately led him to answer the call to priesthood.

Our hearts and prayers go out to all those who lost their lives, those who lost loved ones, the first responders and rescue works who served, and everyone who continues to carry the wounds of that day.

For many, September 11 is still difficult to remember. But we remember because their lives mattered. We remember because their stories matter.

Sometimes worship doesn’t need words.

Just a melody, a moment, and the name above every name.

What do we do with the hurt we carry?

This Sunday, we reflect on Matthew 18:21-35 and Jesus’ Parable of the Unforgiving Servant, where we are reminded of the immense mercy God extends to us and the mercy we are called to extend to others.

Forgiveness means surrendering our right to revenge. Instead of holding on to the desire to make someone pay for what they have done, we can offer that hurt to God and allow Him to transform it into something holy.

Forgiveness doesn’t mean what happened was okay. It means we choose to place justice in God’s hands and free our hearts from the burden of revenge.

🙏 Join us for Mass this weekend as we reflect on what it truly means to forgive as we have been forgiven. by @wearesentmedia

Holy Spirit, make me more like Jesus.

In the way I love.
In the way I speak.
In the way I forgive.
In the way I serve.
In the way I surrender.

Strip away everything that keeps me from reflecting Him.

May people encounter Jesus not only through the words we proclaim, but through the lives we live.

Come, Holy Spirit.
Form the heart of Jesus within us.

¡Estamos deseando verte! ❤️ by @wearesentmedia

If you’ve ever asked this question, you’re not alone. And honestly, It’s a good one. The short answer is no. But the longer answer is so much more beautiful than that.

Catholics don’t worship Mary. We honor her. We love her. We ask for her intercession the same way you might ask a friend to pray for you — except she’s praying from the closest seat to her Son that exists.

She is not a replacement for God. She is a mother pointing her children toward Him.

This month we’re spending May with her. Come learn why. 🤍

“Behold, from now on all generations will call me blessed.” — Luke 1:48

Eucharistic Adoration is at the heart of everything we do.

Before the music, before the preaching, before the mission; there is Jesus.

Jesus in Zion was born from a desire to create spaces where people can come before the Lord in the Blessed Sacrament and simply encounter Him.

We believe revival begins in His Presence.

Every gathering leads us back to the same place: before Jesus in the Eucharist, to worship, to surrender, to receive, and to be transformed.

Come and adore Him.

There is something so beautiful about witnessing two ministries, with similar charisms and the same desire for Jesus, come together in one room.

Jesus in Zion × Encounter Ministries NJ.

Different missions, different communities, but one heart: to create space for people to encounter the living God.

A night of worship, prayer, healing, and surrender, watching the Lord move through His people and reminding us that the Church is alive.

This is what happens when we make room for Him.

Come, Holy Spirit. Keep uniting Your Church and drawing hearts back to Jesus.

WHY JESUS IN ZION?

Fr. Vincent shares the heart behind the name and the beauty of what God desires for each one of us.

Our hearts were created to be a dwelling place for Jesus.

Just as Zion speaks of the place where God dwells among His people, Jesus desires to make His home within us, to encounter us, restore us, and draw us into deeper communion with Him.

That is the heart of Jesus in Zion: creating spaces where we can come before His presence, open our hearts, and allow Jesus to reign within us.

Not just an event.
Not just a night of worship.
An invitation to become His dwelling place.

“Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith.” — Ephesians 3:17

Come and encounter Him.
Come and make room for Him.
Let your heart become His Zion.
