🛼❤️ SKATE DC WEEKEND IS ABOUT COMMUNITY. We want everyone to feel safe, welcome, and respected while we’re out skating together.

Before we hit the streets September 1–6, take a minute to read our Code of Conduct. It’s all about skating safely, respecting boundaries, sharing the road, and looking out for each other.

Know the code. Respect the community. Let’s have a great Skate DC Weekend! 🛼🔥 by @weareskatedc

11 days. 70 hours. 18 volunteers. All squeezed around my full time work schedule. I was a bit torn on whether I should make a slow process video, a time lapse video, or one to thank all my friends who volunteered their time to help...decided to do all 3. I learn more and more with each mural I do. Definitely learned the most about Creative Leadership with this 24x11ft behemoth. Go check out our work in Alethia Tanner Park and send me a selfie with it!
