Reintroducing Team Foster 🐕‍🦺

We are a non-profit that aims to raise funds to place service dogs for Veterans. We partner with ADI accredited organizations who train and place each dog at no cost to the Veteran. Since 2014, we've helped pair more than 500 Veterans with service dogs around the country.

Colton Einstein is fighting the toughest battle of his life.

Colton, @einstein.56 and @jillian.einstein ‘s son, is 6 years old and he is battling high-grade glioma, an aggressive form of brain cancer. The road ahead won’t be easy, but he’s facing it with courage beyond his years. The Philadelphia Flyers Alumni, Flyers Warriors, Operation Enduring Warrior, and Team Foster are coming together to support him and the Einstein family.

Join us on Saturday, October 10, at Hollydell Ice Rink for an afternoon of Beef, Beer, and Hockey. As Colton begins treatment, our hockey community and supporters across the region are rallying together to show his family they are not facing this alone. All proceeds go directly to supporting the Einstein family as Colton continues his fight. Come out, enjoy the day, and stand with Colton.

Team Foster is rolling into 2026 with a full calendar and the mission of getting more life-saving, accredited service dogs to the Veterans who need them most!

This year’s lineup has something for everyone. Ride through the night at Ruff Ride in any (or all!) cities you like, in New York City, Philadelphia, or Pittsburgh. Take on the miles at the Foster 100 or chase a PR at Last Person Standing. Hit the greens at the McMasters Open, or raise a glass with purpose at the PA Whiskey Show. However you like to move and connect with the community, there’s always a place for you!

Every registration, donation, and share helps fund service dog placements for Veterans living with visible and invisible wounds. These dogs bring independence, stability, and hope, which you help make possible by participating in the events!

Pick your events, tag your crew, and get ready to show up for our Veterans all year long! 🐾

Your first look at Day 01 of Ruff Ride PGH 2026! 🐾

Ruff Ride PGH kicks off Saturday, October 3 at 10 AM at the UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse. Day 01 is packed with rides, Buzzworthy Trivia, and PGH Trivia to keep everyone moving. We'll also hear from some amazing Veteran speakers throughout the day. Later on, Live From The City Band will take the stage to carry riders into the night!

Ruff Ride PGH is almost here ⭐️

We kick off Saturday, October 3 at 10 AM at the UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse for 24 hours of spin relay, raising funds to provide service dogs for Veterans. Free parking is available at the Forbes Garage, just 50 yards from the Fieldhouse, with a Ruff Ride Parking Pass. The pass will be sent to you via email a few days before the event!

CRC 5K WITH TEAM FOSTER🐶

This Saturday (9/26) from 9:00am - 11:00am we are hosting our first annual 5k for the Conshohocken Running Club😃With over 100 runners signed up we have already raised $2,000 for @weareteamfoster 🙌 100% of our total proceeds are going to them this weekend😎

Why is TeamFoster so special? This is a 501c3 based out of Conshohocken founded in 2014👏The group was formed to honor the legacy of U.S. Army Captain Erick Foster who tragically was killed in action in Iraq in 2007. Their sole goal is dedicate funding and provide life-saving service dogs to disabled military veterans at no cost🫶After getting to know @nickliermann (founder) over the last several months, there is no stronger alignment between the mission of Team Foster and Conshohocken Running Club🤞We are both focused on making a positive impact in the world and I wouldn’t want to support another group than the fantastic one that Nick has built. He’s an amazing person so this Saturday a lot to not only me, but our runners🤩

Join us on October 10 to support the Einstein family!

Colton Einstein is 7 years old and fighting high-grade glioma, an aggressive form of brain cancer. Team Foster is joining the Philadelphia Flyers Alumni, Flyers Warriors, and Operation Enduring Warrior to host Colton & Friends Fight Cancer. All proceeds from the event go directly to Colton's family.

The afternoon brings beef, beer, and hockey to Hollydell Ice Rink in Sewell, NJ, starting at 3 PM. Two games are on the schedule: the Hollydell Hurricanes vs. the Pennsauken Pilots, and the Flyers Warriors vs. the Capitols Warriors. Tickets are on sale now at the link below.

Registration for Last Person Standing is officially open! It all goes down on December 5, 2026. Runners take on a 4.1-mile loop every hour, on the hour. If you're not at the start line at the next hour, you're out. If you don't finish before the next hour starts, you're out. If you decide to quit, you're out. And we keep going until there's one person standing.

It's self-supported, so runners bring their own nutrition, hydration, and gear. Only 100 people can join us this year, with a waitlist once those spots are gone. If you've been thinking about joining, now is the best time to find out if you’ll be the Last Person Standing.
