The reason I do what I doโ€ฆ like a lot of parents that have lost a child to addiction, Sarah Jane was killed in active addiction December 23, 2016. Strung out on dope, she was at the wrong place at the wrong time, doing the wrong thing. Her Instagram is @thrashbandicooter which chronicles the last couple months of her life. The first picture is of her when she was Clean helping me sell jewelry at a market, and the second was a selfie the day she was killed. She was taken way too soon. Addiction is a black hole. It robs us of all the joy and good things Life has to offer. It affects so many people. Love knows no boundsโ€ฆ this song was one of her favorites by @wearethoseppl
My submission for @wearethoseppl. Over the past four years, Iโ€™ve seen the devastation addiction can cause. Watching my wifeโ€™s sobriety journey and the constant work she puts into herself and supporting others has been truly inspiring. Sobriety has been a huge blessing in my life, and Iโ€™ll always be grateful for the work you do, @bridgetbrady. Iโ€™m proud of you. by @wearethoseppl
