We’re thrilled to announce ROW has been selected for Fêtes des Lumières 2025 @fetedeslumieres and will be exhibited at the National Opera De Lyon @operadelyon in the historic Le Grand Foyer – the only space in the building that has preserved its original 1831 interior.

TUNDRA extends personal thanks to Julien Pavillard and Romain Tamayo, as well as the Opera’s technical team, for making this possible.

If you’re in Lyon during the festival, don’t forget comfortable shoes and dress warm!

ROW | audiovisual installation at Binbirdirek Cistern.

Towards the end of 2022, we were lucky to be together in Istanbul, in the amazing space of the ancient subterranean reservoir of Constantinople - the Cistern of Philoxenos.

Thank you for inviting us @monkeyproject_ofc!

ROW² | audiovisual installation at @digitalrain_art

Originally commissioned for @outlinefestival installation will be exhibited at DEX from 17 to 19 of October.

Arranged in a row, rotating displays more than twice the size of the original version, combined with a completely redesigned link between image and sound, make ROW² more responsive and dynamic.

Every display projects a sequence of volumetric abstract signals, each forming a distinct scene with its own laws of physics, geometry, sound and narrative. The scenes run in a continuous cycle, exploring how light, sound and space shape our perception.

THE DOT | audiovisual installation

A point is the most fundamental unit of geometry, the origin of all form and spatial organization. A suspended multifaceted sphere functions as a continuous source of light and connects the luminous and acoustic architecture of the surrounding space.

DOT comes to Siberia
@pelena.festival Kemerovo
11 - 13 of September

Made with @4x10.dev control system

THE DAY WE LEFT FIELD | immersive site-specific audiovisual installation @mediaartseoul

An installation Inspired by natural environment and its place in modern cities landscape. In “The Day We Left Field” Nature in its primary form, blades of grass, is the “leading character”. As in a surrealist painting, the blades of grass rhythmically keep wavering upside down in a cocoon of light and sound forming an inverted floating meadow.

Visitors find themselves inside the eerie space of a collective exploration, feeling vulnerable and at the same time aware of the open symbolism coming from seeing nature living within an urban closed landscape.

Raw footage from the first hours of the ROW² installation at cancelled @outlinefestival festival.

With ROW², we’ve opened a new chapter in our “holographic” experiments, completely redesigning the connections between image and sound. This part is titled MONOLOG, as we use the voice as a fundamentally human source material.

The term “monolog” derives from the Greek monos (“single”) and logos (“speech”). The installation draws on the sound of reconstructed ancient languages. Granular synthesis breaks the voice into micro-sound grains (fragments shorter than a syllable) and reassembles them into volumetric visual forms displayed across a row of rotating screens.

ROW² | audiovisual installation⠀

Short fragments of the ROW² installation premiere from the cancelled @outlinefestival.⠀

We would like to express our gratitude and support to the festival team, who, despite the circumstances, made it possible for us to complete the work.⠀

Thank you to everyone who stood by us and shared those brief, and therefore most precious, moments of the installation’s life.⠀

At the core of this work are fundamentaly new algorithms that allow the movements of sound and light to be live-animated and organically structured as never before. We felt it at Outline, and hope soon you will feel it too.⠀
