That’s exactly the problem @weballconnect is trying to solve

weball is the UK’s first pub finder built specifically for women’s football, connecting fans with venues that are actively showing the game 😮‍💨

And what we really like is that every venue on the platform has actively applied to be listed, with every submission personally reviewed and verified by founder Margs

As an independent grassroots club, we are always fundraising to raise funds to keep the club going and growing.

Occasionally, @coachwilby has a good idea and she suggested that we do a match day sponsor sweepstake. I wasn’t convinced but I was wrong. Our women got behind it and raised a fantastic amount by speaking to family, friends and local businesses.

There can only be one winner but every person who has contributed, shared posts, recommended us or contacted us have helped us immensely! Swipe to see the wonderful folk who have supported us and our eventual winner…

On Friday 9th October the Lionesses take on Greece in the first of two World Cup qualifiers.

It’s an early kick off (5.30pm), so come and join us straight from work at Fell Bar in the Northern Quarter, Manchester.

We’ll be joining forces with @weballconnect , the women’s football pub finder, helping fans find places to watch the game with the sound on, alongside creating spaces to get together and watch the game.

It’s free to attend but please register for tickets via the Eventbrite link in our bio. Tables are first come, first served so get down early!!

We’ll have a number of games running on the night including game predictions and our ‘Spot the Pony’ quiz – prizes to be won!

There will be drinks on offer from the bar, including a selection of £5 pints.
