🏆 THE HECTOR PANIAGUA TROPHY

This trophy is bigger than basketball.

The Hector Paniagua Trophy is dedicated to a friend of mine and represents his character, his kindness, and most importantly, who he was off the court before his life changed after being struck by a stray bullet that left him paralyzed.

That’s why this is the biggest and most meaningful trophy we award at We Ball In Iso.

For 2026, the Hector Paniagua Trophy goes to @aidanjkane2 our 2025 We Ball In Iso Champion.

This year, Aidan experienced the other side of competition. He lost — and he was devastated. But what he did afterward showed exactly what this award represents.

He took the time to write a meaningful message to the opponent who defeated him. Then, instead of walking away bitter, he stayed supportive and rooted for that player throughout the tournament.

That is sportsmanship.
That is character.
That is what We Ball In Iso is about.

We watch more than who scores the most points or who walks away as champion. We pay attention to how our athletes carry themselves when they win and when they lose.

A championship shows what you can do on the court.

The Hector Paniagua Trophy shows who you are off of it.

Congratulations, @aidanjkane2 🏆

You earned something bigger than a championship.

I been getting great response on my episode with the iso balling kids. So if you haven't watched please do. Its important speaking to our babies, giving back to the youth, and teaching them to never give up!!

Great game between these two standouts. Couldn’t be more proud to watch these two play. One was down in points to the point he had tied it up. All these games was electric ⚡️ you just had to be there. Congratulations to you guys get to work this season. See you next year. We ball in iso. #1v1 by @weballiniso

The best 6 graders went at it this past Saturday it wasn’t an easy battle I would pick these two kids and put them on a team and it would be a problem for the back court. #1v1 puts you through a test it’s sees where your at mentally, physically, and emotionally in this game. It was the push through the ankle sprain. The push through saying I got this after back to back 3s. Congratulations champs. Respect was earned. Welcome to we ball in iso family. by @weballiniso

The motivation of the night started off with these two soldiers they set the tone for the day. These are the best fourth graders in Massachusetts. The crowd was so amazed on how hard they played ball and how hard they fought none of them wanted to let go none of them wanted to lose and that right there, ladies and gentlemen is what you call a Champion. Best game of the night. The motivation. by @weballiniso
