Happy (late) Valentine’s Day to lovely, amazing, and incredibly smart girlfriend, Molly🧐, who I didn’t get to see on Valentine’s Day because she has norovirus 🤒😷 (and also don’t get to see very much the rest of the year because UW keeps putting her hours away for med school rotations. Like seriously we haven’t gotten a picture together since October 😭) by @weberlane

4 years ago today my life changed forever and for the better. I brought home this wigglebutt and my best friend, Teddy. On June 9th he was struck by a vehicle a passed over the rainbow bridge. This year, I’m going to running the Chicago marathon again as a charity runner for South City Canine Rescue. I chose to run for SCCR because I got Teddy from a small, local shelter and I wanted to give back to a shelter directly so then somebody else can find their Teddy. If you’d be so kind as to donate, the link to my fundraising page is in my bio! Thank you for reading. 🐶❤️ by @weberlane

Teddy has unfortunately passed over the rainbow bridge. I’m crying as I type this. He was my true best friend and the best dog I could’ve asked for. I hope you’re forever playing fetch Prince Fluffy Butt. I hope I’ll see you again one day. by @weberlane

In honor of International Running day, I will finally make my post about my last race. I started with the Green Street Mile and got 3rd overall with a time of 5:14, uphill and into the wind. Then, hardly an hour later, I got 7th and ran a PB in the 5k with a time of 17:40! All thanks to a guy who I ran with the entire time. That was fun, we both decided that we were racing each other about a mile in and we both just wouldn’t let up. I barely pulled ahead in the end though and beat him by 3 seconds. Then the next day I was supposed to run a half marathon but went out too hard and with too high of expectations and decided to just do the 10k instead after falling way off pace. I ended up 9th overall and second in my age group for the 10k. Overall, a fun weekend that I hope to do again next year! by @weberlane

Thank you to all the friends I’ve made this last semester. These last few months have been the best I could’ve asked for. (Also I hate all of you because now I don’t want to leave UIUC, lol) I love you all with my whole heart ❤️ by @weberlane
