Love is a Tamil romantic comedy series that explores modern relationships, dating apps, attraction, and the meaning of true love. Starring Arjun Das and Aishwarya Lekshmi, the series presents a contemporary love story that asks an interesting question: is a successful relationship built on instant chemistry or long-term compatibility?

The story follows Tara Krishnan, played by Aishwarya Lekshmi, a practical and ambitious entrepreneur who believes that compatibility is the foundation of a lasting relationship. She develops a dating app designed to help people find suitable partners. Matthew Jebraj, played by Arjun Das, has a contrasting philosophy. He believes that attraction, excitement, and spontaneous connections are what make love special.

When their professional paths cross, Tara and Matthew enter a 60-day challenge in which they test each other’s approaches to dating. What begins as a competition gradually becomes a journey of unexpected emotions, personal discoveries, and romantic possibilities.

Aishwarya Lekshmi delivers a convincing performance as Tara, portraying her confidence and vulnerability. Arjun Das brings charm and screen presence to Matthew, making their interactions entertaining. Their chemistry provides some of the series’ most enjoyable moments.

One of the show’s strengths is its modern perspective on relationships. It explores how technology influences dating while reminding viewers that love cannot always be explained through rules, algorithms, or carefully planned choices. The supporting characters also introduce meaningful perspectives on loneliness, communication, and emotional understanding. by @webshowedits

Drishyam: The Conclusion (2026)

Drishyam: The Conclusion is the third instalment of the popular Drishyam franchise, starring Ajay Devgn as Vijay Salgaonkar. Directed by Abhishek Pathak, the film brings back the suspense, mystery and mind games that made the previous movies popular among audiences.

The story follows Vijay and his family as they continue trying to move forward while the shadow of their past remains over them. However, their peaceful life faces another challenge when a determined police officer, Rajveer Singh Tomar, played by Jaideep Ahlawat, reopens the case. Vijay must once again use his intelligence and presence of mind to protect his family while dealing with fresh questions and unexpected developments.

Ajay Devgn delivers a strong performance as Vijay, portraying his calm nature, intelligence and determination convincingly. Jaideep Ahlawat makes an impressive addition to the franchise, bringing intensity and unpredictability to the investigation. Tabu is also effective as Meera Deshmukh, whose character continues to carry the emotional pain of the earlier events. Shriya Saran and the supporting cast contribute to the family drama.

The film’s biggest strengths are its suspenseful moments, clever twists and engaging performances. It explores themes of family loyalty, guilt, justice and the consequences of past decisions. However, some portions feel familiar, and the climax may not satisfy everyone expecting a groundbreaking conclusion. The background music can also feel overly dramatic at times.

Overall, Drishyam: The Conclusion is an entertaining crime thriller that provides a fitting sense of closure to Vijay Salgaonkar’s journey, even if it does not consistently reach the brilliance of the earlier films.

Final Verdict: A worthwhile watch for fans of the franchise, especially those who enjoy suspense, investigations and unpredictable storytelling.

Rating: 3/5 stars. by @webshowedits

Jailer 2 is the highly anticipated sequel to the 2023 Tamil blockbuster Jailer, starring Superstar Rajinikanth in the lead role as Muthuvel Pandian. Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, the film is expected to bring back the powerful combination of action, suspense, dark humour, and larger-than-life moments that made the first instalment popular among audiences.

Rajinikanth’s character, Muthuvel Pandian, is a retired jailer who appears calm and ordinary in his personal life but possesses a fearless personality when confronting criminals. His strong principles, commanding presence, and mysterious past make him a fascinating character. In the sequel, audiences are eager to see how his journey continues and what new challenges he faces.

One of the biggest attractions of Jailer 2 is the return of Rajinikanth, whose screen presence and distinctive style are central to the franchise. Nelson Dilipkumar’s direction is expected to maintain the series’ signature mix of intense action sequences, unexpected twists, and entertaining comic moments. Anirudh Ravichander’s music is another major highlight anticipated by fans, particularly the powerful background score that complements the film’s dramatic scenes.

The first Jailer featured memorable supporting characters and special appearances, creating excitement about which familiar faces might return in the sequel. The possibility of new villains, unexpected alliances, and dramatic confrontations has further increased audience expectations.

Beyond its action and entertainment, the film’s central appeal lies in the contrast between Muthuvel Pandian’s peaceful family life and his ruthless determination when justice is at stake. This dual personality gives the character depth and makes his confrontations especially engaging.

Overall, Jailer 2 promises to be an exciting continuation of Rajinikanth’s action franchise. With its powerful lead performance, stylish filmmaking, suspenseful storytelling, and energetic music, the sequel has generated considerable anticipation among fans. Its success will ultimately depend on how effectively it develops the original story while delivering fresh surprises and memorable cinema by @webshowedits
