While at @bigsound we had a wholesome chat with @anyyoungmechanicband about the sounds they want to experiment with, the dream of making music for film, and their experience with international touring. This was such a blast, I'm so excited to see where this project goes and will be watching any movie with their music in the soundtrack (that's truly where it belongs)

Check the full interview out on YouTube through the link in bio as always !!

Thank you to the band and also to @bigsound and @beehive_pr for having us 💫 by @webspinnermag

While @hegzzzzzzzz did @jrdnhggns 's make up, I had a chat with them and @lazzararara of @nightlightau earlier this month before their Sydney show with Heart line. We bonded over Twenty One Pilots and talked about their approach to music, their unexpected influences, and all the different parts of being online.

You can check out the interview on YouTube now via the bio link as always, sorry this one is super shaky ... I swear I tried to fix it ...

Thank you @brighteyedbookings and @nightlightau for having me - this was definitely meant to be a shorter interview but we had too much fun and got a little carried away 🙃 by @webspinnermag

In a time where local venues are shutting so quickly and so suddenly, it is super important to go see bands live - bands you love, bands you've never heard of, maybe even bands you don't know if you'll like. The scene: bands, venues, promoters, media ... Need you to come out to shows. Support your local scene, go to a show, check out a band in person, tell them they rock (or that they suck !)

Supernew are a band you can, seemingly as of posting time, only see live and they are incredible and reminded me of the importance of live music and the way that can be used as a tool for an artist. We're very wrapped up in the social media thing and the easy access thing but ... What's better than live music to bring people together and showcase your art?

As a side note, I filmed this at 1am @supernew.band I love you ! I can't wait to see U again ! by @webspinnermag

Pop punk is the main genre that pushed Webspinner into existence years ago. We've seen a whole massive decline in local pop punk bands in the last couple of years so seeing @lightyears_aus make the @bigsound lineup was so special. I had a chat with Lightyears about the state of the local pop punk scene and everything they've been working on. This conversation ties in with a few others we've had at Bigsound about community.

Support your local scene, go to a show, put on a DIY show, tell bands you like them, share bands you love, keep bands alive.

This one is now up on YouTube, check it out through the link in bio !!

Thank you once again to @beehive_pr and @bigsound for having us <3 by @webspinnermag

Had the best chat with @winbigrocks about their debut album "Feelings On Tick", their approach to this project, and how it all came together (among many other little and big things). This one was the first one we filmed while at @bigsound and probably the most chaotic. It is also one of my favourites so treat it well 🫡

Full interview is up on YouTube now and also in the bio link :)

Thank U @beehive_pr and @bigsound for having us - this is still a dream 🙂‍↕️ by @webspinnermag
