X-15 Wing Foil 🇨🇦CANADIAN NATIONALS

🥈 overall losing to @rafferty.read 🇬🇧 but still coming home with the Canadian X-15 Title 🥇!!

Halifax delivered super fun racing conditions gusts of 30kts day one then 6-10kts day two. 8 Races both days!

Huge thanks to @wecanfoil for supplying the X-15s, @theyachtsquadron for an amazing weeklong clinic, and for brining in the best coaches! @alice.read @rafferty.read

CANFoil Week 2026

More than 70 participants took part in the various activities organized during the 2026 CANFoil Week which took place October 3-11 at the Royal Nova Scotia Yacht Squadron. The week began with Learn To and CANFoil Clinics in Waszp, Wingfoil and iQFoil for beginner, intermediate and racer sailors, in which Canadian Sailing Team members Antonia and Georgia Lewin-LaFrance took part in, followed by the CANFoil Cup.

At the CANFoil Cup, Camille Heidelberger won gold in Foilboard (Open) out of eight participants, as did Callum Ruch (ABYC) in Waszp out of five participants.

Also, a total of eight participants took part in the X15 Canadian Championship, held during the CANFoil Cup. Rafferty Read took the first position, followed by Sam Goldby (CBSA) and Mark Mains (KYC).

Plus de 70 participants ont pris part aux différentes activités organisées dans le cadre de la CANFoil Week 2026, qui s’est déroulée du 3 au 11 octobre au Royal Nova Scotia Yacht Squadron. La semaine a débuté par des ateliers « Apprendre à » et des cliniques VoileCAN en Waszp, Wingfoil et iQFoil destinés aux participants de niveaux débutant, intermédiaire et de compétition, au cours desquels les membres de l'équipe canadienne de voile Antonia et Georgia Lewin-LaFrance ont participé, suivis de la CANFoil Cup.

À la CANFoil Cup, Camille Heidelberger a remporté l'or en Foilboard (ouvert) sur un total de huit participants, tout comme Callum Ruch (ABYC) en Waszp sur un total de cinq participants.

Un total de huit participants ont également pris part au Championnat canadien en X15 présenté lors de la CANFoil Cup,. Rafferty Read a terminé en première position, suivi de Sam Goldby (CBSA) et de Mark Mains (KYC).

HOLY MOLY- we WON the Canadian National Championships🥇🏆

Finishing my time in Canada racing on the @x15class has been epic after coaching all through the week and to take the win is even cooler🚀😆

Huge thanks to all the organisers for the event and loan of the @starboardfoiling @x15class gear and mega congrats to all the other riders involved, and to @alice.read for taking the women’s win🙌. And a special shout to @mp_watersports for the huge effort making the whole week happen🙏🤩

The rest of the 2026 is looking BIG, and already looking forward to coming back to Canada again soon🇨🇦😎

That’s a wrap on an incredible 2026 WASZP season! 🤙

Couldn’t have asked for a better season, finishing 4th at All Stars racing against the best of the best! Super grateful for how this year turned out and all the experiences along the way.

Huge thanks to @wecanfoil and @rnsys for the support throughout the year, @wpgcanada for the amazing gear, my friends and training partners, and most of all my family for their unwavering support. ❤️

Time for a winter reset before an exciting 2027 season, with Worlds in Garda as the main goal! I’ll also be back racing with @qsailing, chasing CICSA Nationals and hopefully a spot at ICSA Fleet Race Nationals. Lots more to come on the collegiate front! taken in Foiling Base Cádiz by @wecanfoil

Epic long days of sharing the stoke together learning, improving and having fun with all foiling at all levels with amazing people🙌
